Immediately upon arrival, spontaneous, smiling faces and along with the welcome-drink plus of course the dire beautiful island made the perfect first impression. The staff turned out really nice and helpful. We are therefore more nights stayed, than initially planned. The food is very good, but 30% extra service charge for room service I've never experienced anywhere. It has, however,... More

The water front rooms are nice and relaxing. Comfy beds and great balcony. The resort looks tired and run down and whilst the restaurant has amazing views the food was basic and not that tasty. The snorkelling is better on the rocky side of island where the water is deeper but not a patch on turtle bay on otherside of... More

just back from the resort for 3D2N trip. first impression when walk in to the room is - no house keeping!! sand all around the room until need to sweep and mop by ourselves. yes "ourselves" mean all 30++ team member need to do the same thing in their individual room. secondly no water supply!! for 3 full day. not... Our trip to Gemia Island. Date: 22.06 – 25.06.2016 We drove to the Marang Jetty from Kuala Lumpur. Starting in KL at ~8:45 we just made it in time for the 13:00 ferry. The next ferry, as far as I know, would have left at 15:00 but it was also not 100% clear to me how fixed these times were,... More

We stayed here the last three nights of our holiday, and I can tell you: they were one of the best! Although the resort itself is getting older, the food is very good, the staff very friendly and helpfull and the underwaterworld is amazing! And even if you don't like to see the fishes when being in the water, you... More

Fantastic place for some peace and tranquility. The hotel is a bit old, would say that is has lost its prime but complemented by friendly staff and fantastic view. Perfect for travellers who want some quiet time enjoying the sea view and spend the day loitering around white sandy beach...

This is the most affordable private island resort you can find in Malaysia. Most of the villas are on stilts, allowing you to have an unobstructed ocean view and access to the sea breeze and sounds of ocean waves. The villas are tired from the beating of monsoon gale and storm from October to February every year but it is... More

The resort located on a very small island, just beside the bigger Kapas island. However, because it is the only resort on the small island, it is very private. The beach is small but exclusive to resort guess only, so not too crowded. Food is tasty, standard hotel price. Very clean. Water activities such as kayak, snorkeling.

I've been to this resort for few times. The best thing about this resort is that I can have all the peace and quiet that I need. It is not suitable for travellers who are looking for fun and excitement as they do not have many water activities. As for me, this is the best place to hide out from... More

This is not the luxurious island that you will find in Langkawi. The beach is very small and rocky. The turtle sanctuary is actually small and it seems that it is not funded by any organization. I commend the efforts of the resort though in trying to protect the turtles. The rooms and bathrooms are very basic. The bathroom needs... More
