Always wanted to try this place & finally did with my whole family. We stayed in the Premier Duplex. I think that's what its called, I think we had the rooms numbers 139, 141. The rooms were connected with 2 floors. Downstairs was the master bed room & upstairs we had 1 room plus 1 living room. Very nice &... More

About 10-15 years ago, the Resorts World Kijal Hotel (formerly the Awana Kijal Hotel) was a nice place to stay, but this hotel property has been neglected and is badly in need of a renovation. The rooms are dusty, musky, and damp. There are still old-fashion CRT tube television sets in the rooms, even the suites. As others have mentioned,... More

Wifey had a short business trip to Kerteh, Kemaman and I tagged along. We stayed at this huge resort n here are my views. We took FireFly from Spore to Kuantan and boy, the drive from the airport to the Resort is longer than flight itself ! ha ha ha The resort is rather run down but still very clean... More

This is our second time staying in this resort after more than 10 years ago. We were booked into a club room - a suite on second floor facing the garden and sea. The room is well furnished and clean with good water pressure - we love it having good shower. Both local and western are available with a good... More

Stay there for few days recently (25 to 28 Sept-2013), the room is big, fairly clean. The wifi internet is really "SUCKS" in the room, and they charge you for $25/day to use. I saw lot of peoples have to sit in the lobby area to surf/use their internet as the signal is much better there. The room service to... More

Spent two weeks at this hotel on a recent business trip to the area. Yes the hotel is a bit old, and needs some face lifting. But staff is very friendly and efficient. Rooms are big, well equipped, very clean, and well serviced. I liked the design of this hotel; the location and the greenery, very nice beach and recreational... More

We have stayed 2 nights during 9-10th Aug, 2013 in this resort. The location is just on the beach, which is very long and good and very very clean with less crowded almost no one if you walk early morning for sunrise. I enjoyed early morning walk, intended to see sunrise but little clouded, can see clearly. But waked on... More

We stayed for 3D2N in a deluxe room. Our room was big but the downside was we got a smoking room. The bathroom was spacious with bathtub, shower & toilet area. The hotel has a great pool for kids. There's an interesting batik painting activity & playroom is well maintained. The outdoor activity was interesting. My kids have fun with... More

I'm not gonna repeat what have been posted here - outdated room, smelly carpet, average customer service, ya-da, ya-da. The thing is, I don't think this money-making Genting-owned resort cares what you thinks. I stay here almost every week due to a project involvement. For one, I almost never pay anything below RM300 as they often claim the resort is... More
