We had a wonderful trip and stay in the island. Eventhough it was a short stay, the experience was amazing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by turtles swimming near the jetty. Did manage to see some sharks swimming around too but at a distance. Staff were all very friendly. The food spread was good throughout our stay. And the staff...

This place is something everybody should experience once in their life time! Turqoise water, sand beaches, friendly staff, amazing food and accommodation. We were planning on staying here for 2 nights, but extended our stay just because the place is so magical! If you are nature lover, you'll love this place! Turtles, sharks and other species can be seen easily....

We stayed at the Lankayan Island Dive Resort end of December for some days to relax over New Years. We already encountered a booking issue when we arrived as they claimed that the agent that we used to book the resort made a mistake in booking the dive package and it took us more than 2 hours to sort this...

Everything a luxury resort has to have. Great food, friendly staff, high end equipment. Other than other resorts very well maintained. Special thanks to Jerry for some nice dives. As the marine is based there to protect the border to the Philippines you should expect to see soldiers all over the small island. All of them were super friendly and...

A family (all adult) trip over the Christmas holiday to enjoy the peace and quiet, plus some diving. Slickly run package starting from the boat transfer to the resort, with excellent service throughout. Peaceful and gorgeous little cabins on the beach, plus lovely staff. Loved sitting out on the veranda of the club house in the evenings after an excellent...

The resort is fantastic, the staff are great and the location and layout is superb. The cabins(rooms) are clean, spacious and comfortable and the restaurant, well being located on the water built on stilts and with 360 degree views you get amazing sunrises, sunsets and during our stay amazing Moonrises as well - we were lucky enough o experience a...

THe island is small and surrounded by coral reef full of sea turtles and colourful corals. THe rooms are spacious and clean. Personnell is kind and always willing to help. There are things to improve, i.e. the cleaniness of the beach (which unfortunately is being eaten up by the sea) and of the inner part of the island. The rest...

We were picked up from the airport and off we go to the sabah parks jetty. We arrived at about 845am and were schedule to take the 10am boat to the Lankayan island dive resort. So while waiting, there was a coffee shop where we had local breakfast of roti prata with curry and some traditional Malay cakes and coffee....

Our stay at Lankayan was our treat to ourselves at the end of an otherwise budget adventure. And while it was more than we've ever spent, it was absolutely worth it. We had room 26, and sits on stilts, allowing a full panoramic view of the sea (I believe rooms 20 and up are the ones that have unobstructed views...

Wow wow wow! Completely exceeded expectations. The villa on stilts was superb (villa 26 right at the end and the most private) and the balcony was to die for. We set our alarm to watch sunrise with a cup of tea on our last day. So worth it. The food is brilliant, wine was very good, not cheap for obvious...
