I chose this hotel only because they were the only ones that could provide permits to Sipadan one week in advance in high season and with only 2 nights stay. The staff was nice and friendly, the food was decent, the rooms and bathroom ware mediocre, more like a hostel room on the beach. Though you are not going to... More

All the staff at Borneo Divers were very friendly. The Dive Masters really made an effort to point out special marine life e.g. nudibranch, sharks, crocodile fish, etc. The food was great - fresh and no repeats of the menu over 5 days. There were lots of books on marine life to browse through. Unfortunately the wifi did not work... More

While one can never complain about the underwater haven of Sipadan and cryptic creatures of Mabul, we were totally put off by the disorganized dive masters. We were told to be ready by 5.30am to dive in Sipadan but the boat didn't turn up till 6.20 - and without any hint of apology. On all the dives, we would be... More

The diving crew is excellent. Very smooth diving operation with very experienced guides that knows the local sites very well. Lots of guides and dive boats meaning good guest/DM/boat ratio even while the resort is full. When I was there 75% of the resort guests were Chinese and I found them quite friendly and sociable. I didn't see anyone do... More

We've spent 6 days there as my second diving trip, lucky us have a day guarantee plus an extra bonus day to dive at Sipadan. The amazing sea and creatures underneath are unforgettable. The DMs are nice and instructions are easy to follow even for the new divers like us. The rooms are fairly clean and comfortable, and the electricity... More

Me and my Wife went for a 3 days diving trip. Beautiful and excellent diving around Sipadan and Kapalai areas. Very helpful dive guides , esp Villy, the young boy. My Wife had some problems with the first few dives and the guides were patient and made sure she was safe and good . The resort was clean and comfortable... More

We enjoyed our 5 day stay with Borneo Divers. The dive staff are really helpful and Eto our DM was superb and went out of his way to find the wildlife we wanted to see. The equipment was all in very good condition and we felt safe all the time. Back on land the accommodation was comfortable although the shower... More

I just spent a week diving with Borneo Divers in Mabul, Kapalai and Sipadan, and had the time of my life. Great diving, good food and excellent service. The massage parlor is very nice, but nothing beats the great staff. Kudos to Billy, Emily and all the other div masters for the god job. I will be back soon!

The resort is okay. Wifi in the cafeteria area, not in the room. I used a sim card for wifi connection to my computer and that worked well. Saltwater showers in your room. Resort seems to be run by young people all in their 20's, which was kind of cool, but then nobody seems to take charge, and it is... More

All the staff are super friendly and helpful - especially Eto, our dive instructor. Our day trip to Sipadan was hands down the best day of our whole holiday. It's a must do! We lost count of how many turtles we saw. We were also in amongst the reef sharks, jack fish tornados, bump head parrot fish and various other... More
