We were two friends visited Salang beach last year. One of the most amazing experience in Malaysia. The beach is quite and clean. The staffs of the resort also were helpful and kind. They also have BBQ and Fried rice dishes. I strongly recommend "Nasi Goreng Seafood". I can say Salang beach is the best location in Tioman Island while... More

Its my second time to Tioman and unfortunately we didn't book Salang Indah earlier and have to choose SBR or Salang Mutiara Resort (The New Managament). The owner is friendly and will welcome you with a great smile. However, we do not find the room was acceptable for the price of RM140/night. The water pressure was inconsistent. We have to... More

Located at Salang-bay, which is not exactly a nice beach as it is covered by rocks & dead corals. The resort is badly maintained, filthy toilets and infested by mozzies. Despite being a paid-customer, you're still expected to pay for their wifi service (& they charge on a daily basis). The restaurant is quite good but only operates at selected... More

Summarized review: - Incredibly close to nature (Monkeys, wild/domestic cats, monitor lizards, Chicken/Roosters, all kinds of bugs etc. roam freely everywhere). - Very basic lodging. Individual huts looks brittle and fragile as if it could be easily blown away from strong winds. - Beds and interior of the accommodation was super duper basic. Bedsheets were clean enough but quite skeptical.... More

I stayed for three nights. The room was acceptable but it had two single beds while we were a couple (we reserved 2 days before). The bathroom was terrible. Air condition just had a switch to ON/OFF only out of the room. Surprisingly, no water at night from 9 pm to 6 am ! When we complained to the owner,... More

I stayed there for few nights. Unfortunately during one of the nights, a big group of youngsters probably from SMU numbering more than 100 also stayed in Salang Beach Resort. Those are there for recreational diving. They made hell lots of noise after dinner till past midnight !!! Worst the resort staff didn't do about the noise. So if you... More

Stay period : 28/7 - 30/7. Triple sharing room. We chose this one because it was the only available accommodation at Salang during the long break holidays. Room condition & facilities : basic wood chalet, air cond n wall fan are both in working condition. Bed is reasonably comfy but bed sheet is flirty . Bathroom is even more budget... More

Let's be frank. If you wanted a luxury accommodation, you would have chosen Berjaya Resort (a luxury resort located a few miles away on the same island). I know what I was paying for when I opted for the budget room - cold showers and fan only. I was in Tioman to dive and did not foresee myself spending much... More

I stayed at the Salang Beach Resort during my diving trip at Tioman island. Very very basic lodging, it is just a space for you to rest for the night, full stop. Good: Cheap Drinking water tap available at “reception” of the hotel Not so good: Toilet/Shower facility Beddings Cleanliness
