I've stayed at the resort twice, each time in its newly built rooms up the hill. The room is clean with tiled floor. However, the cleanliness of the washroom could be improved. The gap below the room's door is way too big and mosquitoes kept flying in at night. Solved by blocking it with a towel. Staffs were friendly, which...

The view there was stunning. The chalet is very minimal. We stayed in one of the chalet right by the beach with 2 queen bed and air-conditioning. They do provide a small fridge, but it wasn't functioning. (I don't know why). The toilet was not so clean. (It's dirty). Water supply was not clean as well. During our stay we...

Every meals must good at the time for lunch and dinner. Early not ready, later all finished. All sea food bought from Malaysia main land and not from the sea in front of them, so don't get fresh seafood. When order Instant Noodle because all foods don't taste good, their reply must order after 8:30pm and when times come, the...

Among the several accomodation options in Salang these huts were the only ones available when we arrived. Although our room was the cheapest one (100 ringgit a night if I recall correctly) and did not have AC, it was located within the proximity of most of the diving shops and beaches, and was rather clean. The only drawbacks were the...

Salang Indah resort is located in Salang, the most northern village in Tioman Island. As Salang is quite a big village, there are several resorts, warungs (for a choice of food), dive centres and small shops for daily necessities. The first (and last) time that I stayed at Salang Indah resort was 12 years ago. The resort hasn't changed a...

I went there for my Open Water Diving course and stayed for 4 days 3 nights. The room is spacious and could accommodate 5 person (1 queen bed & a double decker bed). The staffs there is very helpful and friendly. They do provide for basic amenities but for the towel you need to ask at the counter and pay...

The guides were great and very experienced. The room we stayed in was right above the sea and had an awesome sea view. Boarded the ferry at Tanjong Gemok and ferry ride took approximately one and a half hour. Upon reaching the jetty, took a short walk to reach the resort. Along the way, all we could see was the...

We visited for lunch by boat. This place has a wider than normal range of food including some readily available seafood dishes that we couldn't find at smaller places. Because this has a ready supply of customers from its own resort it seemed to keep a bigger stock. Good place to go if you need some variety and surprisingly good...
