I had an amazing time at saltlick safari lodge... The staff there are really well trained and very concerned, Constance especially was extremely helpful actually...she was there every step of the way and she definitely made me feel like home. Can't wait to go back. Joel and Agnes too just to mention a few but overall everyone was kind and warm..I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back soon for an even better time. The ambiance, the place, animals, the food, truly magical 😘
A huge thank you to the Salt Lick and the Taita Hills fraternity: from the drivers (informative game drives), to the reception guys (super helpful), to the chefs and wait staff (every meal is a superb experience and the deserts amazing), the pool attendant and security guards (who kept the kids entertained with ourdoor games) and even room service folk 💕. Looking forward to upcoming updates on the place 👌🏼.
No need to go on safari. All the animals come directly to the hotel to drink and rest. We had a fantastic view from different points of the hotel. Rooms are nice and clean. Samson at the bar was our favourite. Food is really good and all the staff bend over backwards to ensure that we have a good stay The only thing I would change would be the chairs on the outside terrace of the bar. They are really not comfy. But that's really my only complain. We reserved the bush dinner at sunset and it was the most memorable moment of our vacation. Worth every dollar.
This place is absolutely stunning for watching animals from eating, sleeping and game drives! Perfect food and very friendly staff. Reasonable prices! The game drive with Priklop was great, so many elephants and lions seen! Also the architectures is amazing!
Beds very hard may as well have slept on the floor!! Couldn’t get comfortable at all. Food was average at best which is a shame. Staff polite and friendly. No hairdryers or irons in rooms. No fridge for water either. Take passport you will need it to check in!
It was a wonderful stay at the saltlick safari lodge,we spent a very relaxing and amazing time staying there,The staff were the best i have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked past them.the food was very luscious and cleanliness was spot on.the bedroom had an amazing view of the sunrise that we shared each morning with the wildlife walking outside our huts. Truly a place for Peace and for those who love wildlife all in all it was unforgettable moment...
This is one of the most amazing places in the world. It is peaceful and the staff are friendly and professional. The animals can be seen from your room and every area of the lodge. Truly wonderful. Asante sana to the staff for a wonderful visit.
My team and I enjoyed our stay at salt lick hotel. It was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and ever fresh, game drive was refreshing and not forgetting customer services which were always at their best especially Nicolus , Sylvia and the kitchen chefs who always came to check on us if everything was ok. We are very grateful for the hospitality and looking forward for the next visit. Great work!
Having a great time here, the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable. Shout out to Connie at the reception and Nicolas at the restaurant. Great stuff guys and services.
Our trip started off on the wrong footing but Korbin Shimba, the amazing driver who came to pick us from the train station made all the difference. The staff are very friendly, helpful and ready to serve with such beautiful smiles on their faces. The food is alright and the breakfast was really the highlight of the meals. The staff at both Saltlick and Taita Hills were the other highlight. Patrick who mingled with the guests to find out about our experience, John, with the easy smile, Harrison, Paul and Josiah who were always keen to sense our needs and move in to make us comfortable. As well as the housekeeping staff that said hello along the corridors. The friendly staff made our stay worthwhile. The only downside was that the mealtimes felt a little crowded. Maybe the hotel can look into this. Last but not least, the game drives are something out of this world. The wild animals are a variety as well as the birds. Oh, lest I forget, the sunrises and sunsets over the Tsavo are truly special and different.…
