The hotel an American style motel. The room does need modernising, We went for a drink at the bar pre dinner, The bar is within the restaurant and we were surprised to see so many people sitting at the tables at the edge of the restaurant looking out onto the savannah well before the restaurant opened, the barman told us...

I stayed here15 years ago and it was great. This visit however was not so good. There was no hot water at any time during my stay, there was no shower curtain or shower gel. Charging my camera batteries was impossible as I couldn't find an electrical socket in the room. The food was not up to much either and...

The Lodge is situated in the middle of the Park. Nice view point to savanna. Rooms simple, with old furniture and rather unpleasant bathrooms. Limited time of power which important for cameras and tking the shower. Food rather good and pleasant service.

The hotel looks old and run down. It didn't get me excited at all. Wifi is very slow and only available in the lobby area between 6pm and 6am. That's when the generator is on and you need to remember to charge your phones and cameras during that time. The rooms were fairly big (compared to the other safari lodges...

The rooms are good, but old and need a little update. It was clean and there was hot water in the bathroom. The dining area and bar are fantastic and there you have a beautiful view over the park. Staff is friendly, but eager for some tips. The wifi is bad, but no one should need wifi on a safari....

I recommend this lodge for travellers who want to enjoy a peaceful and quiet time away from their busy lives. The view is splendid as the lodge is situated on high ground and blends well with nature. The lodge needs to invest in a family friendly pool as the current does not have a baby pool and it's shallow end...

We stayed here for 1-night during a 10-night 5-location safari in Kenya (two adults and two children aged 5 and 8). Ngulia Safari Lodge was built in 1969, and to be honest it shows. The rooms are simple and we found the food and service to be average compared to other locations that we stayed. However, that said, we're still...

Visited Tsavo-West National Park and stayed at Ngulia Safari Lodge. Lodge is nicely situated in the park with great view over the planes. At 20 meters distance from the lodge is little water hole which also attracts game during the day. upon arrival we had spotted elephants, waterbuck and monkeys. Following morning a surprise visit of big Buffalo herd. Lodge...
