Having just come back from our latest visit to Kulalu, all I can say is, that it never disappoints. The staff and food were as wonderful as always, and the setting is just idyllic on the banks of the river. One of the reasons we keep returning is because of the Galana Conservancy and the wonderful wildlife it attracts. Every...

We have been visiting this lovely intimate camp on the Galana river for 10 years now, this being probably visit number 12. We have always enjoyed its delicious food, friendly staff, and of course its position on the edge of the river. Its easy access to the Galana Conservancy ensures you are surrounded by game, and with no fences, you...

What an amazing camp set right on the banks of the river. We stayed 2 nights there October 2015 and thought the setting , animals, food, staff, company were all excellent. Special Thanks to Bush, Justiss and Hassar our driver. We were really lucky and saw an amazing array of beautiful animals in their own natural surroundings perfect. We stayed...

I have visited kulalu camp a number of times now with each time being just as amazing as the last. The camp is in the most amazing setting nestled on the banks of the river very close to a spot where elephants seem to enjoy to bathe and cross the river. The tents were a very good size, a comfy...

Visited the camp with family and young kids and had a really fantastic time, the location is beautiful overlooking the galana river. the Staff are really attentive and the rooms are quite basic but a good safari experience. Beautiful spot on the river and only 6 tents. Very private and hard working friendly staff. The tents are a bit small but ok. Super view over the river and plenty of wildlife on the conservancy. Nice to relax for two or three nights. The bar is basic so don't expect Drambuie or Campari but wine and beer and basic...

Having just returned from our stay at Kulalu Camp I still can't stop telling everyone about our amazing experiences ... First day upwards of 80 Elephants came down to the Galana River in the early evening !! The excitement was palpable and the cameras were clicking like crazy ... Such a sight to behold ... Tina and her crew welcomed...

Having vast amounts of excess baggage we decided to do a road trip incorporating a safari in Tsavo instead of our usual internal flight from Nairobi to Malindi. We were told the journey would be 6 hours first day, overnight at Kalalu then 2 hrs onward journey to Malindi. It took considerably longer than that....almost double the time in fact....

This is an amazing location for a very small (6 tents) game lodge. Due to its size the service and food are excellent, and you have the chance to watch the moon rise over the galana river whilst drinking sun downers. The game in the Galana conservancy is a bit hit and miss, although I have regularly seen lion, however...
