As soon as you arrive by crossing the river, you feel like you are on an adventure. The river is beautiful, especally at sunset. The camp is well maintained and the tents are spacious and nice. The food is fresh, light and delicious. Meera the owner makes you feel very much at home. We saw wild dogs in Tsavo East which... More

Traveled 160 km. from Mombasa, Kenya. You can see number of lions, cheetas, number of birds which you have never seen. Its a wonderful park. Driver/guide is very good and the services of the camp restaurant etc. very good. You will see all the animals.

Getting there, especially with no possibility of paying the park fees at Mtito Andei Gate for Tsavo East (but only at Mtito Andei gate for Tsavo West) and with the road/railway works on the road, it is pretty complicated. In this season the park was very dry, thus seeing animals during game drives was almost impossible. However the camp organises... More

This permanent tented camp was a delight to arrive to (river crossing) and our stay was totally enjoyed. The food was wonderful and the staff so helpful and willing to please. Our tent was comfortable and the outdoor bathroom roomy and airy. We had 4 nights in total which allowed a couple of lazy days around the pool. The Camp... More

Love the Views of Yatta Plateau (world's longest lava flow) and the plains from the oldest tented camp in Tsvao. It's charming and beautifully done - plus the sun downer on Yatta plateau - the world's longest plateau while watching the sun go down behind Kilimanjaro - Africa's tallest mountain. Toasting to hippos honking in the river and returning by... More

Traveled here with my wife and two children in April, spent three nights. A really genuine safari camp.Quiet, peaceful with beautiful scenery. The best for us though were the great members of staff who went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The food was excellent Was a bit disappointed with scarcity of wildlife on our game drives, but the... More

A very rustic campsite sited on the river bank, amid breathtaking wilderness, offering very comfortable luxurious tented accommodation. Food was absolutely brilliant. Staff were very friendly and went all out to make our stay very comfortable. Their driver took us to some of the best sundowner sites we have visited in Kenya. Very children friendly with a pool, board games,... More

What a place! Came here from the UK with 5 girlfriends. All of us have been coming to Kenya for yonks, and this is the first time we came to Tsavo Safari Camp. It's just beautiful and stunning and is a true paradise. What a place. It's old, full of character and history, and is simply gorgeous. I've already recommended... More

Tsavo Safari Camp somehow manages to provide the style and flair of a boutique hotel in the heart of some of the most enticing wilderness you will ever see. The quality of service provided by Meera and her team is first-rate - tents are spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds, the atmospheric main bar / lounge area is superb (especially... More
