An old hotel that retains its facilities, expect a normal bed, with hard wooden floors. the shower is above the bathtub so you have to stand in the tub to shower. The meals were normal, nothing much to write home about. It gets quiet at night and there's a band for entertainment. Found the price a bit steep for the...

The lodge is set in mature English style gardens with green lawns. The lodge has many original features to represent the colonial era but the whole place is in need of refurbishment. Everything seems to be crumbling down. Our room was clean but very old deco and the wardrobe, bathroom and main doors didnot fit properly or shut. The bathroom had broken tiles...

The hotel needs much improvement but since its running ok, improvements will not be made anytime soon. Rooms and hotel is very our dated. Cleanliness is lacking. Rooms are old and need upgrading. Only good thing is the location and view. Food took 1 hour to come. Ofcourse for the price, it's not the worst of its kind. Serious renovation...

This is an old colonial hotel that attempts to offer modern facilities. There is a lot that needs to be upgraded, especially the plumbing. However, the location and the atmosphere of the hotel cannot be reproduced and are just charming. The gardens have large mature trees and an array of wonderful blooms. Food is average. Rooms are old-fashioned, but not...

The lodge is in a very convenient stop over between the central highlands and the rift valley. The staff is extremely helpful and ready to assist. The accommodation is rather basic but perfectly adequate for the price. The grounds are beautifully maintained and echo with the sound of the falls. The food was various and good within the context of the price and rating...

Even though the equator crosses near this city, it was quite cold for the entire week we were there. The elevation is quite high. This hotel can only heat rooms using a fireplace. While the fireplace is quite romantic and rustic, it does not put out any serious heat. Also, the hotel only burned blue gum in the fireplace and...

Was here for an hour on my way to The Falls which are 2 minutes from the hotel gardens. We had coffee and milk shakes. Excellent service and friendly staff. I wish i had prior knowledge of the place. Looks like a cosy lodge to spend the night in. Will be back.

I loved this hotel for its rustic feel and convenient location, right next to the main road. I stayed for a BB accomodation for 1 night. The breakfast was buffet and rooms very spacious with a fire place which is really needed for the cold night temperature. I would recommend this hotel for any visitor to Nyahururu. It is right...

I liked the lodge very much but would not rate it excellent because of the food. It is basic and good, breakfast however has significant room for mprovements. The rooms had open fires and were very cosy to stay in during Kenyan rainy season. The view of the falls is beautiful and worth the ride from Nairobi.
