Flamingos are gone.... The water level has risen and this forced all flamingos to migrate. So the main attraction no longer exists.. However, one need not be fully sad cos you have a national park for game drives. If you have booked at this hotel, dont expect power all the time, though the management promises you many things including power... More

We were one of the only guests and we were treated like kings. They set up our dinner table in front of the big fire and the food was exquisite. Staff were extremely hospitable and we can highly recommend this place. In the afternoon we went for a drive and really enjoyed this park because of the lake and the... More

We spent the last Friday of the month at Flamingo Hill Camp on our brief one night safari. The facilities were lovely, the swimming pool warm, the hot water bottles in our bed were lovely, so no complaints there. The shower was good. Unfortunately our visit co-incided with a school trip of 75 8 and 9 year olds from Nairobi... More

This property is in the heart of the Jungle with tented accommodation. There are 30 tents and are well spaced, offering complete privacy. The quality of tents very good and are with Bathroom attached. The bathroom was supposed to have 24 hrs.Hot and Cold water, but it was not so in our bathroom, despite complaining, the hot water could not be... More

My husband and i stayed for 3 nights. We had the warmest reception. We were impressed by the natural feel of the place. Its a nice and quiet place to get in touch with nature. Great food.great service. Activities are limited though.

This lodge is one of the few (2 or so) options to stay overnight in Nakuru National Park. It is at the northern end of the park in the section most affected by the near-ness of the growing town of Nakuru (definately visit the southern part of the park for a more remote wilderness). The lodge is decent, with very... More

We had a very pleasant two night stay here. The tents feel more like lodge rooms instead of actual tents. Hot water for showers is available in the mornings and early evenings. The food and service were both very good. Wifi is only available in the bar area and not in the tents. There are plenty of outlets in the... More

I spent 2 nights here while on safari and I liked it a lot. The tents are large, comfortable and luxurious and the service is second to none with very good food. The only thing it has against it is that although it's in the Lake Nakuru NP it so close to the border that you can notice the populated... More

What a wonderful and unique place this was! The first ‘tented camp’ in which we stayed during our safari trip. The tents are truly amazing and like nothing we'd stayed in before. The welcome by Joy was wonderful and very comprehensive and we later found that we were the only guests in the complex (January is a very quiet month)... More

We arrived late for lunch due to traffic but they cooked food for us and were extreemly friendly and nice, people in Kenya are amazing indeed! Tent #4 felt like 4* hotel room, food was simply wonderful! And hot-water bottle under the blanket was really handy in a rainy evening!))
