One of the best tented camps I've stayed in. The rooms had huge tiled bathrooms with a big shower, and hot water and electricity 24/7. The rooms were really nice and had bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer - every amenity you'd get in a nice hotel. The food was amazing - felt like being at fancy restaurant. The staff... After having stayed some nice hotels and camps along the way we found Flamingo hill to be a little underwhelming. It wasn't bad at all but it was just average for us. The tents and food were just ok. The whole place had a very dark feel to it even during the day. It could definitely do with more natural... More

The best safari camp I've ever been to. A bit expensive but in this case u get what u pay for. I had forgotten my bikini and they offered to go to Nakuru town to get one my size when their shop didn't have it. Gets my recommendations!

We booked in here for 1 night, 6th November, ignore the negatives, what some people expect is ridiculous, this camp is spotless, very well managed, food is excellent, tents are comfy with a very nice big bed. Lots of game and birds can be viewed from inside the camp, only small problem is you can hear the town at night,... More

Unfortunately the people there were nice, the accommodation itself was nothing special. The tents are quite old, the public areas look very sad and dark. The food was the worse I ate during my stay in Kenya. I will not go to this place anymore.

We were a little worried as there had been some negative reviews but they were totally unfounded. We loved the lodge and the staff were excellent. The grounds by the swimming pool are lovely and a great place to relax between game drives. Although the flamingos have mainly left because freshwater has entered the lake and ruined in the ecosystem... More

A great place to stay and wonderful game viewing. Accommodation was very comfortable and its a great place to relax. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was very quiet and not too many people around, I think its probably underrated but we felt it was great value for money and a lovely setting. Even more impressed that they offered our... More

My friend and I stayed here for only one night and would love to have stayed for longer. Everything about this place was wonderful. The staff were lovely, very friendly and professional, especially the restaurant staff. The food was beautiful and was a three course meal chosen from a menu with a variety of choices. The tents were really nice... More

This was easily our favourite accommodation in Kenya. The glamping tents were extremely clean, comfortable and well serviced. Even when it started to rain, a staff member turned up with umbrellas for us. The 3 course dinner was a delightful change from the usual buffet.
