The Cliff, heavenly! Small, cozy, homely, welcoming destination. Loved every bit of the experience. The staff are very professional and friendly. The food is amazing; actually the alacarte dining is an experience in itself. Dennis the dining steward is a sweet soul! Each of the ten large rooms has a direct view of the magical Lake Nakuru. You shower or soak in the bathtub right in front of the Lake. How cool is that? The morning sunrise is magical..and guess what, you view it right from your bed! The Cliff is highly recommended for couples...Would visit it again!
Enjoyed the drive from the Lanet gate to the hotel; very scenic route and you get to have a game drive enroute the hotel which allows you to stay in on arrival and you don't have to go do another game drive. On arrival, the reception was great and check in quite fast. The rooms are huge, tastefully done and the interior is top notch. We enjoyed both the lunch and dinner and the dedicated staff are very keen, polite and pleasant. Denis took care of our meals service during our stay. It gets quite cold at night so remember to carry some really warm clothes. I loved watching the beautiful sunrises without having to get out of bed :-) which is a plus for me. On departure, we requested to be packed for some cookies for our kids and they were kind enough to do so. The hotel also gave us some carry home hygiene kits and complimentary gift which I enjoy so much. I wish I stayed longer but definitely a must visit for a weekend getaway.…
From the moment we drove in, we had an incredible experience. The staff at the Cliff were very professional and accommodating, making us feel very welcome. The food was incredible! The photos can’t do the incredible views justice. A special shout out to Angie, the camp manager and chef John! The chicken tarragon was such a great dish! Will definitely be going back to this amazing place!
We were given the best customer services. Comfort at its best. Politeness and the best services were offered. They were very fast to respond to us. The food specifically was top notch. I can’t insist on the service enough. Best place to be
Only accessible from the Lanet and Nderit gates, its a long 60 kms round the lake to The Cliff. It is set next to baboon cliff,10 tents with a stupendous view overlooking Lake Nakuru. Lunch was not of the expected standard but dinner definitely hit the spot with its three course meal of exquisite dishes and varying flavours.Breakfast was a set menu with pastries and fruit on the side. There is a cold pool ,gym and spa to the side of the property which was usuable when the sun came up lol. The tents are spacious with a huge bath that one can lie in and watch the sun rise across the lake. The baboons will try and steal stuff so be wary of them. A fabulous resort and maintaining high standards.
