Detailed Reviews
My wife, 8 yr old daughter and I visited Wadi Rum for a 4 HR jeep tour and overnight camp. We arranged a few weeks in advance and self drove from Petra. The jeep tour was amazing, the landscape/ history/ sandboarding were the perfect mix. Our drive Akram was extremely friendly/ patient with the two children on the trip, knowledgeable about the site. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and warmth of the tent/ huts and the food was also very good. We would have no hesitation recommending this camp to friends.

The Wadi Rum desert is a must see when you visit Jordan. The Wadi Rum Desert Camp was outstanding. We had a blast during the jeep tour and felt very welcome in the camp. All the meals were amazing. The electricity in our tent wasn’t working, which was the only downside. During winter, the Nights are very cold but we were provided with many blankets so this was not a problem.

Nice people wonderful experience camel ride was great. The camp dinner and music and dancing was quite unique. Very clean bathroom felt very safe. Tent was comfortable as well. We chose a full day jeep ride, and our guide Osama was amazing, always smiling and very helpful. We were worried about it being too long, but we were never bored and were left wanting more.

We booked this place based on good reviews we found online but were disappointed about this camp (not the Wadi Rum Desert Area which is of course amazing).
Issue 1: upon arrival the manager Mohamad pushed us to cancel the booking through the online portal as he said he wanted to save the commission. Then he was quite aggressive and pushed us to pay him for the accommodation and the tours we booked in advance. In the end we gave in as we were in the desert and nowhere else to go. When I handed him the cash he put half of it in his pocket and the other half in the office register.
Beside us there was only one other family there so it was very lonely.
Issue 2: The design of the bubble tents was nice although half of the resort wasn’t completed yet. Works were ongoing. No lights in the bathroom, at night no electricity (lucky we brought a flashlight) and it was cold enough to last through without aircon.
Shower sink was clogged.
No shower gel or shampoo provided.
Issue 3: we booked two tours a night stargazing tour which was amazing (very kind guide, prepared tea on an open camp fire in the middle of the desert. That was nice although for USD 140 for 3 pax not cheap.
The next morning we booked a six hour (full day) tour incl lunch for USD 300 for three pax. That was a complete ripoff. First the pickup truck was so old and run down . Then we spend the first hour driving to Wadi Rum Village to pump petrol (we saw other tour guides doing this alone before picking up guests). Secondly the pickup truck broke down 45 min into the desert where we had to wait for another vintage vehicle to show up as replacement. The tour guide only spoke Arabic and just dropped us a various places without any explanation. We just had to hop off and explore ourselves. Following other tours. Later he wanted to cut the trip short. So our 6 hour trip turned out to be a 4 hour trip only. The Beduine style lunch was a tuna can and humus from a tetra pack which cost us USD 50. I highly recommend going to Wadi Rum Desert but not at this camp

One of the most beautiful and fun experiences of our life :) We spent the day with our guide Hassan, a fantastic person: we had lunch with him in the desert, he told us many things and he offered us delicious tea and biscuits! We dined at the camp, danced around the fire under the stars and slept in tents (and we were hot, even though it was the end of November!). Ghanem is always kind and helpful.
Thank you for all!

Excellent hosts, very polite, welcoming and friendly. Helpful from booking through to leaving. Would highly recommend! Suggested the perfect itinerary to suit me, but saw them adapting others itinerary’s according to their needs on the day. A very hospitable and charming set of hosts.

I really loved this experience and would like to repeat it!! I made a 4 hours jeep tour on the first day where I saw everything, and the guide kindly took pictures of me and the group. Then we had the typical dinner and saw the typical Beduin dance around the fire. To finish the day we watched stars in the open air: magical!! The day after I made a ride with the camel at sunrise that was really special!! I really recommend this camp: staff is well prepared and super kind! And food is very good. I had a great time with the group!

The tent and dining hall were tired looking. This place is geared to large groups and seems very touristy. We stayed in desert camp in Morocco that was so much nicer I had high expectations for this place.

What a great time we had! We did the full day jeep tour and it was totally worth it. We prepared lunch with our great driver Mahmoud, visited some cool spots and enjoyed the sunset. Back in the camp we had a lovely Bedouin night with traditional food, music and dancing! Definitely the best memory from my trip in Jordan! Great staff and amazing experience! Absolutely recommended!

Great experience with great people, the people are kind and helpful in a genuine way, and we all enjoyed the experience.
We had a nice jeep tour, camel ride and watched the sunset in the desert. The latter was a magical experience
