This was one of the most incredible and authentic experiences. I can not say enough about the Bedouin Lifestyle Camp. From the moment we arrived they couldn’t of been more hospitable and accommodating. We met with Attallah (the head of the camp) and he explained everything and the activities we had planned over the days. We then set off for a day of hiking and jeeping around with Yesma. He was so kind and lively and made our experience unforgettable..taking us to off the beaten paths in the desert. It was so much fun being able to sit at the top of the jeep and ride around and then have tea at the top of mountains. Dinner at the camp that night was also a blast.. full of authentic middle eastern food and dancing around the campfire. We slept at the camp that night. The next morning we got to do a sunrise camel ride which was beautiful and then set off for hikes with Fayez. He was incredible and really helped explain the history and background to Jordan and the desert. He also was so nice to teach us lessons and tell us about his family. It truly was like we were there with a lifelong friend. We hiked to the highest point of Jordan (Jabal Umm Addams) the first day and the next day did (Jabal Burdah.) I could not recommend these hikes more and it was a great way to spend a solid amount of time in the desert. We also got to have lunch inside caves which was also an incredible way to see the desert. Overall, this was the most authentic/ immersive experience and MADE our time in Jordan. I would recommend spending 3 days and 2 nights in the desert. It is full of adventure and you really feel like you’re truly having a Bedouin-like desert experience. Highly recommend this camp. Thank you for everything!

Perfect stay in the desert! The jeep tour was pretty cool, the dinner was good and we enjoyed the evening with the candles, the fire, tea and music. Is was fantastic to see so many stars!! Even when the camp is in the desert, the tent was very comfortable and they had a good bathroom. We would do it again :)

As I scroll through the photos on my camera I am still in absolute awe at the experience my fiancee and I had with the Bedouin Lifestyle Camp. If you're searching for an experience in Wadi Rum, you've undoubtedly come across some of the luxury bubble tent camps. I certainly won't judge anyone who chooses one of these camps, but we weren't looking to be pampered. We wanted to FEEL the desert. Feel the heat, the sand, and the spirit of the desert and that is exactly what we got with the Bedouin Lifestyle Camp. We booked the Stars Tour which included a camel ride on the first day and a jeep tour on the second day followed by a night sleeping on the desert floor under the stars. I highly recommend booking more than one night because you really start to get to know the amazing guides and form authentic bonds with them as well as your fellow campers. Checking in was super simple. We just followed Google Maps right to their office, paid in cash, and we were off to camp. Right from the beginning of our drive to camp it was difficult to keep my jaw closed. You instantly feel as if you've been dropped into an alien world as the landscape of the desert and mountains reminds you of your place in the universe. From there, we rode camels across the desert as the sun climbed higher and higher in the sky. We broke for lunch and took shelter under a cliff and took a much needed nap in the comfort of the shade. We then rode for another couple hours and actually assisted our guide in herding some other camels. We were exhausted by the end of it and our blistering hot tent gave us little reprieve - no A/C in these tents! But the sun began to set and once again the unfettered beauty of the Wadi Rum desert washed over the very essence of our humanity. We were here. And it was nothing short of an honor. The dinner was delicious. The celebration of music and dancing around the fire was exceptional. You truly feel immersed in the culture of the Bedouins, much more so than you would at one of the luxury camps. We smoked shisha as we listened to the music and stared at the night sky. I'm not sure I've ever felt more connected to the cosmos. The next day was truly beyond words. Our guide was Fayez and I am so that we ended up with him. He's an awesome tour guide, a great cook, and has great jokes to top it all off! After a full day of driving around a group of about 10 people, providing excellent insight to the history of Wadi Rum, he took my fiancee and one other member of our group to our final destination for the night, sleeping under the stars. What we saw once the sun set was like nothing I've ever experienced. Even though there was a half moon distorting some of our view, we were still able to see the Milky Way with our naked eye. We didn't sleep that much, mostly due to the fact that we were in complete awe at the beauty that we were sleeping under, but also due to some of the mosquitoes that were quite relentless :) The entire experience was hands down one of the most memorable things I've experienced and probably will ever experience in my life. Book with these guys, you will not be disappointed.

Very good experience in Wadi rum desert. Nice tour to the most known spots in the desert with a very friendly Jeep driver. The tour ended with an amazing sunset with hot tee, finishing up with traditional food, dance and Bedouin music. Nice camp with good bathrooms conditions.

Very well organised day tour. Mahmood, the driver cum guide was very friendly. Cooked us an amazing lunch in the middle of the desert. Overall very cooperative and helpful staff. Dinner and song and dance at night were fun. The room was very very basic and budget level, could probably make that little better.

This is a must-do when visiting Jordan! Everything is well organised and clean. In the evening there's just a great athmosphere with the other guides and tourists. The Wadi Rum is out of this world and the guided tour is just wonderful. Our guide Fayez is a really great guy. A real bedouin (sprinting down the mointain with firewood while we could barely walk down). You can see and feel he loves the Wadi Rum, and he's just great company to have. This place is just so magical. So magical we actually got enganged here. You'll love every second you spend here!

The tour was BEST that I’ve done in Jordan. The team was very helpful and friendly. Our guide - Mamud - also look after us. He offered us drinks, food, and took selfies. The office team was excellent at organizing the events. Absolutely loved all the activities e.g, sandboarding, sightseeing, walking in the beautiful desert, stargazing, dancing at night. Have I told you about the food? They cooked in the oven under the sand and it was so delicious. Highly recommended this wonderful experience!! 😍
