We stayed for 2 nights in this camping,it was a great time! The location was good, the dinner was great and the entertainments were awesome!!!! One evening it was a Bedouin wedding ceremony and the next day Bedouin dancing. There was a clean toilet and a shower with hot water. I am recommending it!

We arrived late in the evening. We were given a very tasty meal cooked underground much more that we could finish. The tents were too warm so they helped us set up on matresses outside where we could see the stars. Then the entertainment began. Dancing and they even got my husbsnd dressed up as a shiek while we all... More

This place was disgusting! Ruined the whole wadi rum experience for us! The rooms and toilets were extremely dirty ! Electricity was supplief only for 4 hours and actually included just one lamp in the room. There was no toilet paper or a bin in the room and we had to ask for both! The bin was never provided to... My friends and I came by this camp by last minute chance. We met the owner who happened to be the cousin of the owner of the camp we stayed at in Wadi Musa. The tents were well priced and comfortable. When we arrived, there was a party already going on; so there were a lot of locals, which we... More

Unfortunately we couldn't see any of the wonderful stars because of the nightclub and the music that went with it. Showers didn't all work and one had a cockroach in it and were not clean. Not a good place for women to stay in on their own as the night I was there there were just a large number of... More

The Oasis Desert camp delivers a truly one-of-a-kind experience. We stayed overnight in Wadi Rum; Rateb and his staff are very well acquainted with Wadi Rum know all the best spots to marvel at the desert's beauty and Bedouin culture. He arranged a a camel ride for us through the desert at sunrise and-- as someone who has traveled all... More

Ratep is truly a character. Me and my sister had fantastic experience in his camp while traveling through Jordan last year. We stayed in his camp on the last minute notice and they organized everything immediately. Desert is gorgeous . I will never forget night trip to desert to see stars. We were made to feel so welcome. Food was excellent and far more than we could possibly eat. We were taken for sunset viewing and stargazing later as well as our whole day desert tour. Ratip is a real character and nothing is too much trouble. We chose to stay in one of the mud type huts - Excellent stay.

Fantastic experience. The owner- Ratep Falahat organized jeep tour and camel ride in the desert for us at moment's notice. The camp is clean. The owner and his stuff make sure that when you are at the camp- you are taken care of. You do experience Bedouin hospitality. Intinerary is well thought out. One of the most fun experiences that... A very nice camp with good food and very good location beside a mountain. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The owner shows you the highlights of the dessert and is a very special person :-) Was really great. A place where you can find yourself and very good friends. There is a friend of the owner that goes... More
