Arabian Nights has been established in a quiet and serene valley within the Wadi Rum Protected Area. The location has a feeling of relative isolation both day and night and it provides for a very relaxing setting. The camp has been designed with a comfortable layout so that each tent has a unique experience, unaffected by the surrounding camp infrastructure but also offers a communal environment when the camp family gathers for meals, entertainment and socialising. There is a large communal tent which is synonymous with Bedouin culture where individuals can come together to drink tea, eat meals, share stories and interact. In addition there are individual tents with amazing unobstructed views of the surrounding valley. The camp is run and inhabited by Bedouins who are descended from the region for many generations and are born and raised in the surrounding desert. You will have the opportunity to learn from their intimate knowledge of the land and gain exposure to the local culture.

I have spent a few nights in the camp from Arabian Nights and also did a full day tour plus the sunset tour.

The camp was located in a quiet valley in the Wadi Rum desert and offered excellent offline experience. Galaxy is visible every night and can be seen in the desert with bare eyes. Sleeping under the stars with the fellow bedouins was an interesting experience and it's something that you don't want to miss! The camp is very clean and there is hot water for shower!

Food from the camp is great and I love the time to mingle with everyone in the communal tent and listen to the stories of the bedouins.

My guide for the full day tour was Walid and he is a very experienced driver! He will let me take my time to take photos at each checkpoint in the desert which is amazing. I have also taken the sunset tour guided by Shaker. He drove me to a quiet location where I can enjoy the sunset on my own without any interruption from other tourists!

All in all I love my experience in the Wadi Rum desert with Arabian Nights so much. I definitely recommend you to choose them if you are planning your stay and tours in Wadi Rum. Highly recommended!!!

I had a terrific two nights at Arabian Nights. I stayed in one of the fancy tents, which were so nice. I really appreciated having my own bathroom and showering the bed seemed comfortable but I spent both of my nights sleeping outside, as it was let hot and I appreciated the breeze and view of the stars.

The hosts were great and I enjoyed chatting them and the guests in the evening after dinner under the stars, around the fire.

Food, cooked in a traditional bedouin way, was ample and they accommodated for vegetarians like me.

I did one of the day 4x4 trips around the desert.

Wadi Rum is truly spectacular: the sights and solitude.. Arabian Nights was the perfect place to spend my time. I would certainly recommend it

We met Shaker at the parking point beyond the visitors centre. He sent us the place to meet by whatsapp which worked very well. He introduced himself, which was good, as there are many people on the way in at the Visitor's centre where you have to stop and pay or show your Jordan pass, that try to lead you away from your booking - pass straight by them!
The place is run equably by all, and the family all had a hand in preparing the fire, cooking and serving the evening food. We got there later towards evening and were able to watch the sunset go down over the mountains which was fabulous.
We were unable to book a luxury tent as they were all booked, and had the smaller standard tent, with a shared bathroom. Although smaller, the bed is comfortable and the view through the window hatch enough to see the stars. If you want to sleep outside you can!
Shaker and his family that run the camp are all very laid back, and nothing seems to be a problem!
Next day we went on the jeep tour, and then rode some camels back to the parking, as we unfortunately had to leave that afternoon. If you can stay for two nights, it's worth it. If we'd had more time we certainly would have done.
We look forward to going back and staying in a luxury tent next time!! and for two nights!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Arabian Nights Camp! Shaker was great at communicating with us and ensured that he was at the pickup point when we arrived. He drove us to his house for tea and to meet his two young sons before we headed out to the camp. Everything was lovely and just as pictured. We stayed in the luxury tent (superior double) and enjoyed the amazing views from four floor-to-ceiling windows! The luxury tent has a private attached bathroom, as well. We enjoyed Zarb for dinner, played some games in the common tent (there are lots of books and games), drank lots of tea, and visited with Moomoo (Shaker's brother) and cousins. We were the only guests that evening (I'm sure due to lower numbers of travelers during this time of Corona) and we were treated like royalty. The bed was extremely comfortable, and it looked brand new. We had a simple, yet filling breakfast and then took a two hour 4x4 tour to see some of the sites in Wadi Rum. We even tried sand boarding! Do yourself a favor and book a night or more with this wonderful family!

Definitely one of the best place we have ever been. A place in which I hope to come back. The landscape is amazing, almost unreal, the people are warm, authentic, hospitable and the food delicious.

Let me go in order, I've chosen them since their website is full of details and useful tips, all the prices are transparent and clear (something quite rare to find), moreover I was looking for an authentic place (not a bubble hotel) that was eventually offering some comfort like private bathroom.

I booked with them a night in their deluxe tend with a view of the wadi rum that is worth the ticket to Jordan, the full day tour and one hour camel ride.
The tour was great, we were just in four, no rush, we set the pace. Suliman was accommodating and helped us to enjoy as much as we can the tour. He also brought us in an area with internet connection, since we had to quickly send couple of messages.

The food was delicious and the night was really fun with traditional live music, dance and good opportunity to know other guests and share some tips for the trip.

If in the future we will have the opportunity we will try to stay longer.

The experience at Arabian Nights Bedouin Camp was simply the best from our Jordan trip!! Shaker greeted us at the visitor center, then we went by car to the desert camp with Omar. I loved that the camp was further away than other camps in Wadi Rum so we felt like really in the middle of the desert. Once we got to the tents, we were amazed of how clean and nicely decorated our tents were. We bought the luxury tents with private bathroom because of the nice view in the morning, however, the smaller tents were equally nice if you're on a budget.

The half-day trip was incredible! We saw 2 bridges, 2 canyons, 2 sandboarding places, Lawrence House, a shop, and a great sunset place. Omar was a great guide! For dinner, we had the best chicken ever, cooked in the traditional way: subterranean barbecue called zarb!!

Shaker, Omar, and Yusuf were all very friendly and funny. Loved talking to them at the fire place. In the morning we went up on the mountains around the camp for a last great view of the Wadi Rum desert. When I go back to Jordan, I'll definitely choose Arabian Nights again!

It's impossible to describe how incredible this place is, and those that work there, in words. My partner and I went for the Highlights of Wadi Rum package, staying in a deluxe hut with an ensuite and private balcony—please, go for the same option. The accommodation and location are utterly breathtaking; the socializing and food cooked up for us all day is both delicious and generous; the tours are exhilarating; the sights are incomparably jaw-dropping. In particular, our guide, Ibrahim, was a marvel.

Go for it. Stay here. You won't regret a single thing. You won't forget a single moment.

We had an excellent time my mother and I! The deluxe tent was amazing ! The view was breathtaking and the prices extremely fair 😊 Omar took his time to show us around and to help us make the most of it while taking into consideration our limitations in terms of efforts and climbing. Views, great food and fantastic views - all of it affordable. Please don’t forget to tip them, they really go out of their way to make sure you have an awesome stay - we came back with stars in the eyes 🥰 choukran!

We spent 2 amazing nights in the Arabian nights camp with my wife. The tent was beautifully decorated in authentic way as well as the main tent where we had tasty breakfasts and wonderful Zarbs ( local dish) . Also the hosts were very welcoming and caring !!! Shaker and his team took us to breathtaking spots such us Umm ad dami ( Jordan s highest point) and every day ended with an extraordinary sunset. The team provided us everything we needed and they were very attentive to our needs.

We definitely recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic Bedouin experience!!!!

This was an unforgettable experience ! We were staying in the tent with private bathroom during 2 nights which was very well equipped (USB plugs, fan and amenities). The « simple » tents are more rustic but you can charge your phone in the main public tent.
Therefore, we truly recommend the first option especially noticing the small price difference.
We decided to spend two nights in order to enjoy the calm and the atmosphere and this was a very good decision. This was a real atypical experience.
We reserved a camel ride and a half day tours with Shaker the owner and this was as well the best decision. Our guide Ibrahim is coming from Wadi Rum and knows the place as no one. We discovered the main places and learnt about the history of the place thanks to him.
The tour ends by a very nice sunset and a cup of tea, Bedouin style.
If the have the chance to do it with Ibrahim, do not hesitate. He is the sweetest. A special thanks as well for the cook (Uno champion). We ate as much as we walked… and everything was delicious. The dinner worth it !
Few notes for the travelers :
As you can imagine, there is no AC ;)
For French guests, the breakfast is only salty.
Keep in mind that you are in the desert so there is a little bit of dust in the room that you cannot avoid.
Regarding the tours, we recommend to book directly with them as the quality is the best you can have there.

We truly recommend this place and all the
experiences they can offer. Trust them for your stay !

P.s : we loved playing games with you and learn a little bit of Arabic thanks to that. Nickel chrome Ibrahim !
