Our family of 6 stayed at Obeid's for one night. We had a wonderful time and were well looked after by Obeid's son Nayel (sorry about the spelling?) and his team. Thankyou for creating some memorable experiences for us all. The camp was clean and tidy. We were able to go camel riding and driving in the desert, trekking can...

I didn't stay at the camp overnight nor did I meet Obeid so my review is just based on a day trip. For the price, I thought it was an okay experience and would not necessarily recommend it. Wadi Rum was beautiful but I don't think the people with this company helped us enjoy the trip. Basically it felt as...

Situated on the edge of the Wadi Rum area, this camp is full of hospitality. It is the little touches such as the careful tent stitching to keep draughts out so that you do not freeze, The camp has clean facilities, but bring your own towels. The evening meal is great food and you just lounge about chilling and drinking...

We originally planned to stay only one night here but decided to make it two because of the relaxed atmosphere and the hospitality we received from Obeid and his two sons. We took a ten hour walk through the desert that was amazing. There is a canyon 800 meters from the camp that leads to another valley. There are also...

We got picked up at the border and went without troubles to the camp (about 1 hour drive, bit less). We stayed 1 night (we were the only 2 in the camp those 2 days), and were very pleased with Obeid and Obeid's sons' approach. They were very open and made sure we had everything needed. Even got to drive...

We visited this remarkable and unique camp in February, 2015. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip to Jordan, and the one we find ourselves speaking about passionately and enthusiastically with friends. Everything -- the desert tour, our dinner and its preparation, the hospitality, good humor and generosity of our hosts, and the accommodations -- were perfect....

I stayed 2 nights at the camp with friends and I'm so happy I did! I first contacted Obeid by email and he was very quick to reply and set up a plan for our 3-day trip to Jordan. We already knew a couple of places we wanted to visit and he suggested a few others. Our short stay in...

It is true place managed by fantastic people. Most of the other place are managed by people whose only goal is to squeeze the tourist with unacceptable fees for the trip into desert. Samen and his family are different. They want to share with you the real soul of the desert. The tent are real Bedouin tent and the dining...

We visited Obeid's Camp in December 2014 and greatly enjoyed our stay. Obeid and his family were perfect hosts. The jeep ride, the camel ride, the dinner, the evening entertainment were all arranged well and the hosts made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. To top it all, my husband celebrated a Bedouin birthday in the camp....

Believe the five star reviews for Obeid's. It's a terrific experience and shouldn't be missed. Our family of five all stayed in the same tent which was extremely clean. We loved the sunset camel ride, the meals and hanging around the fireplace inside the tent because it was very cozy in December. We took heated warm packs (Hot Hands and...
