Under amazing stars we ate and drank and sat just drinking in the experience of being in a Bedouin camp. We slept in a mud hut but could have chosen tents if we wanted. We woke early to see the sunrise and just sat drinking in the magnificent desert.

We spent an entire day with Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp- with their tour around Wadi Rum and a night with them. Omar was very responsive, arranging the trip was a breeze. We called them when we arrived the location earlier, and Omar immediately came down when we called. We did the jeep tour with another family. It was very pleasant-... More

I recently spent five days touring Jordan and was very happy to spend some time in Wadi Rum. What an amazing place! My sister and I stayed overnight at a Bedouin Camp, Rahayeb. Although the accommodation was very basic and I wouldn't want multiple nights there, for one night it was perfect. Around 3:00pm our guide took us out for... More

Wadi Rum is amazing, truly is awesome to come here experience life in wilderness with no houses, roads, buildings but just massive formation of rocks, sand dune and mountains. We were right in the middle of desert, no sights of human except the caretaker of the camps. We were welcomed to a long tent with tea on our arrival. Not... More

I organised my trip into the desert with Abdullah Ali a few weeks in advance, a two days/two nights jeep trip with some walking, I was not disappointed. The camp facilities are great, the food is fresh and tasty, the scenery is beautiful and Abdullah Ali and his family's hospitality is amazing. The price also I found very reasonable. As... More

Driving through Wadi Rum and stayed with wildwadirum.com proprietor Eid Attayiq after he was kind enough to help dislodge our vehicle from the sand - a true gent! Camp had lovely views and pleasant sleeping accommodation for our group of five friends. The shared bathroom and showers were clean and in good working order. Wadi Rum is a beautiful landscape... The camp is small, intimate and very safe. It is in the south of the reserve, away from other tourists and far from traffic and worry. You will experience the serenity only found in the heart of the desert, and enjoy the dazzling night sky un-polluted by city lights. The bedrooms are Bedouin tents, both very attractive and comfortable, which... More

Basic common bathroom with toilets and showers available. Better than you reasonably can hope for. In the evening we got a traditionally prepared meal, very tasty. It's possible to sleep outside, in open air under the stars. Very, very friendly people.

I had the greatest time of my life, what a wonderful experience, I will never forget the views, the stars, the sand, the pink hills, the camp site, the people, the food, the guide, the driver, the atmosphere, the calm, the sunset. I just loved this place.

The accomodations were very comfortable. We had a wooden hut with cots, warm blankets and a pillow. We were camping in mid-April and during the day was very warm but at night was cold (I will guess 10 C) But warmed up nicely and quickly when the sun came up. The dinners were great, and having the chance to talk... More
