I was only here for one night, so location mattered most and it get's top score. My room however smelled of smoke and the toilet didn't smell too lush either. The shower was pretty fantastic I must say. Breakfast was vast. For a short stay it is perfect, just make sure to check the room before checking in.

Not cheep enough to still be attractive. The tired building still has all the ammeneties required, except for the omission of lifts, but everything still feels drab. Not having even one accessible room is a parody! access with a pram is far from ideal too. The food is average and so is the service.

Stayed there over the weekend with a group of friends, and went out for hiking. The room was spacious and nice. Saturday breakfast was very good and rich with many dishes - the Israeli way. Great for families.

Stayed three nights at the hotel. Although very basic it is clean and provides a base to explore from Gym is very small. Food for breakfast was good. No elevators and rooms are suite type but very comfortable. Easy walk to Pub and to see things in town.

Stayed one night on a tour to the desert. Nice room and facility. It is within a couple minutes walk of the view down into the crater. Nice breakfast. Ask for a hair dryer if you need one. We would choose this hotel again.

This place is just before the visitor center building and a two minute walk to the edge of the gigantic and impressive crater. It us a gated protected safe location. The rooms are quite modern for this kind of basic youth hostel- the beds and basic table are new and fresh. The breakfast was good. But beware that as in... More

I ended up here after a full day hiking in Timna; tired hot and in need of a shower. The receptionist was very kind, even when I had to get help with the a/c. Being mid-summer it was pretty quiet and I had the place to myself apart from a Caribbean church group. Breakfast was very basic by Israeli standards... More

There is very few places in Mitzpe Ramon, so this is a logical choice if you want to explore the area of the Grand Canyon of Israel. Parking available free of charge. It is a youth hostel with travel groups, but the staff assigns rooms away from the groups for individual travelers. There are small guest houses, few steps away... More

These are private rooms within the youth hostel. The price was good, the location was great (if you're going to makhtesh ramon), it was clean and had its own TV/fridge/kettle. However, the students in the hostel were completely out of control. I've stayed at hostels before and never experienced anything like this. Screaming and running around until all hours, with...
