The Arg-E-Jadid hotel is a new hotel on the outskirts of Yazd, but very near to the Zoroastrian Towers of Silence. The rooms are good and have all that you would expect from a 4-star-hotel. The food was very delicious and the staff was very friendly. But, you need a taxi to go downtown.

Located on a hill with spectacular view of the city and/or surrounding mountains but a bit far, about 10 Km/6.2 M from city center, what means one needs a drive, what was no problem in our case because we were an organized group. Two floors square building complex around a spacious indoor courtyard with colorful fountain and abundant aquatic areas, a very nice place to have a drink if the weather permitted. The main entrance with steps was not accessible for the disabled, something common in Iran. Spacious and elegant reception lobby, from where started a wide corridor that circled the courtyard. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy, with nice view toward courtyard or desert and mountains, silent and relaxing. Restaurant is located over the entrance lobby; breakfast was good but could have more options of fruits and cold cuts, for it seems that the prohibition on eating pork applies also to other animals. We had buffet dinner at the restaurant two nights, during which it was very crowded with European tourists, but the first night the headwaiter managed to place us even though we had no reservation. Food was good and moderately priced. A pianist entertained dinner intermittently. Staff in general were so nice and attentive. The only incident was that two people in our group were put into a suite the first night because the standard room was not available and the next day they wanted them to be moved, but finally declined in their intention. Free wifi internet.

before traveling to Yazd , I had a great doubt about choosing one of the best hotels ! finally after surveying several hotels , I made my mind and I selected this hotel for several reasons : 1- a new and well-equipped hotel with great room service 2- nice view ( sourounded with mountains ..... ) 3- nice and tidy rooms . 4- professional staffs although this hotel located a little far from city center , you can find one of the amazing monument beside of this hotel, TOWERS OF SILENCE !!

After two days staying at dad hotel. I decided to reserve this hotel for two night. The stuff is more friendly than dad' stuff. They have free yazd tour for their passenger. Their rooms are bigger than dad. However, the hotel location is a bit far from city center. The restaurant was great for dinner. I have preferred dad breakfast but the breakfast here was great, too. All in all, I absolutely recommend this hotel.
