I'm just waiting for the next winter to come to stay in RestUp hostel again. Mohsen (a.k.a Mo) and his wife and family were the best, friendliest hosts I've ever seen in my travel around Iran. The atmosphere of the place was as warm as the lit up fire in the court yard during cold nights of winter. Every one gathered around that fire at nights right after they step in, and you couldn't leave this beauty... The colorful breakfast was great. Rooms and beds were simple and clean. Also the warming system in rooms worked well. The toilets and bathrooms were always clean and equipped. We also used the two bicycles Mo left for the guests to go around. That was a lovely idea! We loved the yard, with those orange trees and green pots, wooden beds and chairs, that small blue pool in the…
Beautiful and comfy place with great breakfast. I was there with a friend of mine during low season. We could easily rent some bikes, make a desert tout among other things. The owner, who is very funny, and his family are wonderful people who make our stay incredible! I would definitely come back in Yazd only to meet them and so I only can recommend you to go there!
We had a wonderful stay here. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. We shared dinner with his family, which was delicious, and he took us on a great desert tour. The breakfast was great. The rooms are large. Good location. Highly recommend!!!
I found this place by pure luck. I was looking for a place for one night, but that is impossible, because this place is just too nice. The breakfast was amazing, so many things I never tasted before! The owner „Mo“ is one of the funniest people i have met in Iran and with the other travelers we spend so much time together in the night at the campfire. Don‘t miss the view over Yazd from the rooftop! You WILL enjoy the time here, I promise.
Staying with Mo and his family is one of the bet memories from our trip to Iran. Not only he made a beautiful fire every evening where we sat around and just simply chatted and listened to the music, he offered some food and tea as well. We woke up to a fresh and tasty breakfast served in a nice inner patio. The rooms are simple and clean, the shared bathrooms are spotless. Mo is a legend! He memorized all of our names from the day we entered his place and organized everything to make our stay a memorable experience. Simply perfect! 🙏 Salaaaaam Mo!!
Staying at Mo's is more than just resting after a full day discovering Yazd or its surroundings. It is feeling at home every time you return to the hostel, wake up and about to have an amazing breakfast or when we spent hours next to the bonfire at the patio of the hostel. Getting to know him and his family was still one of the nicest experiences I took home from Iran. I really hope we will meet again. =)
Mo and Leyla welcomed us like we know each others for years. We couldn’t find anything to complain. Beautiful old house, great hospitality, colorful breakfast in the center of Yazd old town. We are sure that we will see them again. Thank you so much Leyla and Mo for being so loving and caring. 😊🙏🏽🍀
My best impression and memory from this hostel is from the owner, Mo! He was always upbeat and jolly and friendly and helped you with anything you needed! The breakfast they serve is superb! The property is spacious, it even has a great lookout point from their second floor. They light fires at night during the colder months and foster friendly interactions among the guests. The beds were simple but clean. The toilet was also clean all the time. Thank you so much, Mo!
We had an incredible stay at this very nice traditional hotel. Mo and his family made us feel at home as from the very first minute. Excellent breakfast, lovely room, cozy garden,.... Best hotel in town, that's for sure!! Thank you Mo and family :-)
I spend 3 nights in this lovely family run place in a traditional house with a gorgeous quiet yard in the middle of the old town of Yazd. The Basar and the centre of the old town is within walking distance and restaurants are also nearby. I had a wonderful time!
