We stayed in Yazd for two nights. It was very warm at the time, but aircondition in the room was very good. The hotel is very traditional with rooms located around a courtyard. The staff provided a very good service and they were all very helpful. We used their laundry service which was not all that good. Not all the... More

We arrived at this place after having been let down by the silk road hotel and found Kohan hotel to be quite a nice surprise! The inner courtyard is certainly a huge plus, the traditional hotel has a lot of charm, though a faster wifi and a better air conditioning would have made it one of our favorite hotel in... More

Kohan is a traditional hotel, meaning it was once an old house, though it's clearly been extended. Some rooms are on the courtyard so might be noisy, but ours was back off another courtyard and very quiet. They've got quite a large number of rooms; some are up on the roof. The room itself was pretty small, but was comfortable... More

Well, compared to the previous traditional hotel I stayed in Shiraz (Niayesh Hotel) where I had a traumatic experience, Kohan hotel was a nice change indeed. (If you're interested to know what happened, you can read my review). The plan was to stay in Kohan hotel for 2 nights but a last minute change in my itinerary required me to... More

This hotel & hostel is located in a traditional building in Yazd old town. The rooms are situated around a pleasant fountain with a fountain and sofas. The food is great (and includes free tea for all residents) and the staff is helpful. There is a small "tour agency" in the reception area, who can help arrange trips into the... More

What made my stay here so great is the beautiful inner garden with the beds. We stayed at the dorm for a few nights. The beds were comfortable and the rooftop gives a nice view on the city of Yazd. It felt like the rest of Iran: a true paradise and one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!

Well, I am sorry i have to write this, but it was the big disappointment of our two week trip to Iran and the first time i think TA ranking was misleading.. To start with - many mosquitos. Staff was kind to give spray but still i found myself in the morning with bites. Second - if you carry luggage,... More

Very nice and comfortable hotel in the old city. Clean. It has a really beautiful courtyard. The restaurant is very well organised with traditional delicious dishes. You must eat here! The staff is very polite and helpful.

We took a tripe room and got a fiver so we has a lot of space. Bathroom was usual - no tub just a hole in the floor but toilet was western. Hotel has a very nice yard with pool and some trees, also a shade so you can always find some place in a shadow during all day. In the... More

Kohan hotel is extremely popular! We made a reservation by phone and managed to book accommodation for one night only (although we stayed in Yazd for 2 nights). The hotel is located in the old town. It is amazing how the taxis manage to drive in the narrow streets! From the outside you would not imagine how this hotel looks... More
