My friend and I have transport arrangement with horas family as well, the driver picked us up from Our Medan hotel and send us to the ferry terminal with some sightseeing stop and other stop that we want to go. We had a wonderful time at the Horas family home. The service was excellent and anything we asked for was answered wholeheartedly. The people there are really welcoming and informative. We stayed for four nights, enjoyed the kayaking, boating, swimming and feeding the rabbits which were all free. The place is especially perfect for families who want to relax and...

To start, Horas Family Home seems like good option for some guests (families with $$) so perhaps my friend and I just the wrong fit. With that said, we were disappointed that: i) our reservation and email from Berend said we had a mini-house booked with 2 rooms but instead it was just one room with a partial curtian, not...

After our stay in 2011 with Horas Family Home, we decided that we would definitely go back to this place. The owner Berend Bakker welcomed us with open arms. We stayed in Horas Indah for the first view days, because Horas Family Home was not available to us directly. Horas Indah is smaller but still large enough for my family....

This is a beautiful place to visit and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our group included two grandparents, and two families with five kids between 6-8 years old, and we all loved it. The property facing the garden and lake had two bedroom areas that could hold 4 people in each room, and a smaller...

The room and bathroom are clean. The kitchen is well equipped. We tried their grilled fish for dinner and the taste is superb....
