We arrived in Vung Tau without accommodation booked. From a previous trip, we knew The Rex Hotel was in a good spot, across the road from Front Beach. Eight years ago, the Rex Hotel was old. Well, it's still old BUT it has a new eight storey wing attached. We were upgraded to a Deluxe Sea View room and it...

Service was good, breakfast was good, and pool and bar area were very nice. However, pool had 2 lounge chairs (1 broken) which had no cushions on them. Our room was dingy and run down. Holes with ants crawling out of them in bathroom. Mold on the shower curtain. Mattress old and uncomfortable and they didn't even have fitted sheets....

I read a lot of reviews before booking this hotel for 3 nights (February 2-5th, 2017), hoping that maybe people who left negative reviews are too demanding. Well, not at all! All the people who left negative reviews are right on point! The hotel had its prime probably 20 years ago, all that's left from it now is the pool...

Let's start at the beginning. Upon arrival the first underlying assumption was to assume that my wife was a prostitute. Was asked for her VC id card and not her passport like I was. Next the room I had booked through Qantas.com.au was really basic but the price we paid was not really basic and was at the second highest...

We found the hotel rooms and view was superb, a let down at breakfast after what we have been use to in Vietnam, one of the main reasons for this booking was the gym , which is now over looking the fantastic pool area but instead in an hallway between rooms and equipment dearly in existence..... Staff were great...

My fiancee and I stayed there for 5 nights and had a great time. Located just about 1 block from the ocean and walking distance to restaurants. It was an older hotel, which I prefer. When you stay at a newer hotel, they electricity goes on when you insert your hotel key into a slot by the front door and...

Air con failed in both room we checked in. Staff were friendly. Can get better hotel in vung tau. Avoid asking taxi driver to bring you to eat. All the taxi driver will bring you to this restaurant. Trust me the most expensive seafood you can ever find in the world and the food sucks.

We booked this hotel as needed a place to stay in Vang Tau and did not know much about it. We were delighted with it. It was not overstated and suited us. Near the town centre - 100 yards from sea front - in quiet part of town
