The hotel is located in a decent area on the front side of the beach if VT. It’s connected to a Hostess bar that runs in the evening, so don’t be shock if you see a lot of Vietnamese girls in skimpy outfits in the evening hang out at the bars. The rooms itself is tired and definitely needs updating; however, for its price of about 30 usd, you can’t complain much. It has the basics, bed, tv, fridge, ac and a shower. They do allow smoking in their rooms so expect a smell of cigarettes. I find the service staff here to be very pleasant.

Located just few minutes from seafront at Front Beach the location is good and it's easy to find. Modest but clean and big roooms, even though a little bit noisy for the standard rooms close to the bar&restaurant. The only thing I missed in the rooms was a room safe even though safety was not a problem. The hotel has a good bar and restaurant in a good garden setting, and it's a good choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner og just some beers or drinks.

Last year I stayed in a standard room on the ground floor. This visit I upgraded to a larger room on the second floor. Their website describes all their facilities. The room I checked in to had an aircon problem as in none. I was promptly moved to the room next door. My room was large as well as the bathroom. Everything worked okay. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Cleaning ladies usually around to assist eg restock my fridge, change my towels. Laundry, which is included in the price, was taken in the morning and returned in the afternoon. I enjoy staying here because of its location and facilities. My only negative was that the cook can not make spaghetti carbonara. All my other meals were good. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Return visit so knew what to expected. This is a dated, basic hotel with plumbing and electricals all showing their age. However it is functional with a few small annoyances but balanced against room rate it can be a good deal if your okay with lower standards. I paid VND430,000 per night on a weekly rate. Have reduced this rating by one star as different room and poor experience impacted. On this visit stayed in Room 209 which is a very good size. Was frustrated with shower pressure which spurted on and off. Drainage not as good as should be so you stand in your suds after a short time. Gap under door let’s in mosquitos and some small “mite” type flying insects which gave me a few bites but sprayed the room and placed a rolled towel at the gap to adequately resolve. Security in this room was not the best, a good shove would may the door or window give way very quickly. A room safe is provided with a lock pad and key. Nightmare started on second night around midnight when the wind picked up outside, something was making a very loud and sudden banging noise. Continued throughout the night and I tried to locate thinking it may be a door etc not secured. Went to Reception at 5am and was waste of time. Told to come back at 9.30 and did so but Reception lady, Flower, who was very helpful in the past acted like it was a personal attack on her reputation and became very angry. Offered to put me in a different room, would have to pay more of course but I refused this without being sure where the noise was coming from as it may not solve the problem. By that stage Flower’s English skills disappeared and I thought it best to relocate elsewhere. Lucky as the wind continued for several more nights. Hotel did refund for unfinished stay so that was reasonable. If handled better their would be less grievance. This lets you know that if you have a problem your on your own. Must add that the kitchen side of the business works very well, ate there several ties during my stay in Vung Tau and the hotels Bar is very good. Housekeeping staff were lovely and friendly but spoke only Vietnamese, can use Google translate to assist but they can’t type on your English letters keyboard. Good wi fi throughout the premises. Unlikely to return but don’t let this isolated issue put you off if your okay with basic budget style accommodation then it’s worthy of a look, especially for a longer term stay. My prior room was 105 and overall that was a better experience.
