Unique property designed in old and authentic Uzbek style combines very high level of comfort and amazing personal service. The owners and management were always there to take care of our stay. Any extras we asked were always fulfilled: tea, breakfast at the time we need, arrangements of taxi or recommendations of what to do in the city. Rooms are... More

One of the best hotels and one of the former madrassa types I stayed at in Uzbekistan. Exceptionally friendly and pleasant people. I did not get names but happy to say staff typified Uzbek hospitality. This reconstructed former Madrassa of Sayid Kamol offers you typical small rooms (at least the one I was in) with low doorways which gives the... More

This is a small (10 rooms) former madrassah. The hotel courtyard is beautifully decorated, as are the rooms. The breakfasts are substantial, served at the tables, with a variety of fruits, hot dishes and cold dishes. It's about a block from the beginning of the historic area, located in a residential neighbohood. Very comfortable!

My tour organizer, Advantour, booked me into this terrific little converted madrasa during my stay in Bukhara. It was such a great surprise. There were probably less than 10 rooms, all enclosed facing into a small courtyard. It felt like you stepped back in time, yet the amenities within the rooms were all up to date, clean and modern. The... More

I felt in love with my room before I opened it, for the lovely inner yard, funny mascot attached to my key and ornamental doors. The room itself was amazing, small, but with enchanting oriental decorations, beautiful furniture (the chest! I want one such at my home!), comfortable bathroom and reliable wi-fi. Breakfasts were dissapointing for me, as I'm not... More

This hotel is a converted 19th century medrese. Close to all historic landmarks. Beautiful decorations inside the rooms and in the inner court. It felt like a museum. Very friendly staff. Good Wi-Fi. While traveling in Uzbekistan we stayed in 5 hotels. Amulet hotel shares 1st place with a hotel we stayed in Samarkand. There are less expensive hotels, but... More

The converted madrasah is absolutely gorgeous. The room was perfectly clean and charming, with AC, wifi and a good bathroom. It was very quiet, calm and relaxing; frankly, at the end of the day, we would much rather spend some nice time in the courtyard or on the upper terrace than in one of the loud and overpriced restaurants and... What can you say? A lovely converted madrasah, with only a smidgen of rooms, all clean and inviting. Once in side those lovely old wooden doors you are transported to a little sanctum of peace, which you quickly become possessive of. Staying three nights gave us the opportunity to spend a day purely relaxing on the day beds and relishing... More

Stayed four nights in the charming Amulet hotel, which provided a lovely and quiet stay in Bukhara. Spotlessly clean abd with brand new bathrooms but still traditional in it's styling and careful restoration of the beautiful medrassa. Great breakfasts and lovely hosts who were uninstrusive but always around if needed. Perfect location too.

Great location, rooms, bathrooms and breakfast in a small converted madrassa. It's an easy five minute walk to the main sites in the old town. We were really well looked after. 100% recommended. (Plus awesome wifi!)
