A wonderful hotel, situated in a beautiful forest with clean air. The staff are exceptionally friendly and polite and the restaurant serves a wonderful mixture of traditional and modern dishes - all are very high quality and tasty. High standard conference rooms and coffee break facilities. My first choice, and always exceeds my expectations every time.

The hotel's first attraction is its location, surrounded by a pine forest. The building is in a very good condition too, everything was sparkling clean. The meals were tasty, staff helpful, rooms comfortable, particularly the suite which we got when decided to stay there for 2 more days. Still, there is some room for improvement and I'd like to mention some things that were not so pleasant. 1) it was somewhat noisy as they rent their banquet hall for weddings and other celebrations; would be also nice to have a night security as I was woken up in the middle of the night once by a drunk who was retching on the stairs somewhere, needless to say I was looking under my feet the next morning but everything was as brilliantly clean as before. 2) there was a telephone in our room still it appeared impossible to make an important phone call and as we had arrived late I was able to buy a Ukrainian SIM card only the next day (had no problems with making the calls on my mobile phone). I needed to go to my relatives while my husband stayed at the hotel and phoning the hotel I asked to connect me to his room, in 5 seconds the reception girl told me he wasn't in his room, asked me to call later and hung up on me while I was asking her to try again. On collecting my jaw from the ground, I called again and asked her to pass a message to my husband. He called later after figuring out how to use his Orange mobile in roaming and said he'd been in the room and hadn't received any messages though he did ask at the reception. The obvious conclusion for me was NEVER to rely on hotels' telephones again. The reception staff differed in their attitude to customers. The best girl checked us in and out, she really went an extra mile, still with the others we needed to specify that we needed 2 breakfasts and 2 sets of towels, as we were given only one set as default though when booking 2 people's stay was specified. 3) we booked our stay in the hotel directly on their own site, were told we'd receive a confirmation shortly which never arrived. Still I didn't think it could be a problem as I'd phoned the hotel too, got through to some Russian-speaking guy, but when we needed to change the dates I phoned the hotel again and found out they didn't have a slightest idea about our booking. So, I booked it again and before going to Ukraine phoned once more to check - this time our booking was confirmed. Well, it is a good hotel in general and when they get rid of some drawbacks it will be more than good.

This is second time I have been there. It's location is awesome. It looks like a jungle lodge. In the midst of woods. Wooden Structure. A really nice experience. Excellent service and support by staff.

We are here for a three-day business training. We find it in a very quiet area on the edge of a forest. The internet is very stable and strong. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner like I have at home. The staff is friendly, attentive and ever person I met speaks English.
The rooms recently must have been renovated. They are modern and very clean.
I can really recommend this hotel!

Cherkasy is not a place I had any plans on visiting, but I wound up here for a couple of days. The Hotel Ukraine sits in the Cherkasy Forest just north of the city, and is a beautiful property. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the service friendly, and the stay was quite pleasant all around. The adjacent Kosmos Bowling provides another nice bar and place for snacks, and you're not too far from the city, reachable by taxi or a trolley bus that stops out front.
I was here over a weekend during which time two weddings were held here, and it was excellent to see how they were treated as well. Cherkasy might not be a common destination for tourists, but Hotel Ukraine is a great place to stay while you are there.

I stayed here for a business trip in Cherkasy. The hotel is located about 5 km from the city, and is tucked away in the woods. Depending on which building you are in, and what side will determine how quiet it is. My room looks out to the roadway, and is a little noisy if the window is open. However, if the window is shut it is very quiet. The beds are a little firmer than I generally like, but the bathroom is decent sized, and they refresh the room daily with new towels if you like. The attached restaurant is nice, but the breakfast is a little wanting. Overall it was a good place, at a decent price and I would stay here again if I come back.

I love this hotel. I spent about a week in this wonderful hotel in December 2016, and it was a very nice time. I loved the wood area surrounding the hotel and the snow. Very quite place. Very good breakfast every morning. The staff were great people, especially the front desk people, I love them all, all of them were friendly and very polite, they told me many things about the wonderful history and culture of Ukraine. The manager was a very polite lady, and a great person. After I left this hotel, I traveled to Istanbul, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Granada and Dubai, but I didn't feel wonderful time in these cities' hotels similar to Ukraina Hotel. Definitely, I will visit the very beautiful city of Cherkasy, and definitely I will stay in this wonderful hotel again, that I love it so much.

Pretty nice hotel outside the city. Less expensive that nearby Selena. There is bowling inside. Will not recommend at winter time, but at summer could be nice option if you like quite forest area for your stay.

Out of city location can give nice view from window with fresh air of forest. Plus nice service on reception could give perfect first impression. The worst part waiting you in room. Very bad noise insulation! If you have a bad luck you will know all secrets of your neighbor from next room. The food in restaurant far not the best in Cherkasy.

What a pleasure to stay at this wonderful hotel! The surrounding forest, provide great views and a opportunity to be in touch with nature.
The rooms are clean, spacious and pleasant. A full set of amenities is provided including toiletries, hair dryer and shoe brush.
The food and snacks from the restaurant are of exceptional quality and of significantly higher quality then most hotels in the UK.
Good transport links to the city, with a myriad of activities on site. Trying the quad biking is a must! Full safety gear and a knowledgable guide provided. It is a lot of fun exploring the many numerous forest trails.
The attached Cosmos bowling centre is the place to unwind in the evenings. Opportunities to bowl, dance and to try Russian billiards - (slightly harder then snooker)! The staff are very friendly and will happily tell you about local life and places of interest. Good quality, free, wifi throughout hotel and bowling centre.
A wonderful hotel that exceeds expectations! I hope to visit again soon.
