What a wonderful little hotel, we only stayed for two nights but wish we had stayed for longer. All the rooms are located around a central pool with the reception and bar/restaurant off to the side. The staff should also get a special mention, probably the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in.

Beautiful little hotel where you can just feel comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful- the breakfast, whether in buffet form or ala cart, very tasteful. We are already here for the 2nd time and will certainly come a 3rd time

We stayed here during our trip from Chiang Rai to Phetchabun, and the service and attention to detail was wonderful.
The staff were helpful and knowledgeable, they were even able to provide a map for the historical park and how best to explore it all!
They even have a souvenir shop next to their restaurant that contains some great items that we had the pleasure of purchasing!
Would have loved to stay another night if we had longer, but will definitely be coming back to visit.

A beautiful colonial style hotel with swimming pool, off the main road and 5 minutes outside the center. Wonderfully quiet environment. Dinner is good. It was very busy when we were there. We ended up sitting at the bar. The people are hospitable and super friendly. The rooms are fine, air conditioning is nice in the room. There are sunbeds and towels at the pool to dry off. Great experience

This hotel deserves at least 5 balls. A beautiful hotel in traditional Thai style finished entirely with handmade carvings. The decor is also authentic and beautiful. Very nice neat rooms a nice pool and welcoming Owner and staff. Moreover, they have an excellent restaurant. If you are going to sukhothai then this is your hotel.

The hotel is kind of nice with traditional architecture and the swimming pool in central position. However in being in wood some modern appliances do not work. We had to chance room twice because our air conditioning was not working, kibd of annoying.

Very cozy hotel with a nice swimming pool. The hotel is located a bit outside the center, so you have to walk for restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is highly recommended. Breakfast buffet also delicious! Staff very friendly. Cleaning every day

I stayed in this hotel from 1th to 5th February 2012.

2nd February I brought an envelope with amex cheques, cash and my passport to the reception desk and asked them to put it to a safe box.

3nd I came and asked for the envelope to take my passport to rent a motorbike. They brought the envelope to me. I did not leave the reception desk. I took the passport just in front of them and returned the envelope back to them.

5 th. I checked out in the morning and asked for my envelope. They answered that they did not have it as I already had taken it and they did not remember the moment I returned them the envelope after taking my passport from it. That is next to impossible because I clearly remember that I returned it back. I asked them to check a camera at the reception, but they answered they did not have cameras in the hotel. I also asked them to check everywhere and moved to Chiang Mai.

The same day I called AMEX support and asked them to block the cheques numbers. They also asked me to go to a police station and get a police report.

6 th. I went to a police station wrote the full story and they provided me a report.

8 th. I went to the police station to check progress about the investigation. No luck. A guy from the police station said if they wanted to steal money it's hard to prove.
I called back to Sukhotai hotel to wonder maybe they have found the envelope, but the answer was no again. This time the owner suggested me to lie that I lost my travel cheques in Chiang Mai not in Sukhotai. Nice.

By the way, it's a nice hotel, but keep all your valuable belongings far away from the reception desk.
P.S. This is an updated review. I attached the police report in my previous post, but it did not appear. Hope this time it will work.
