This place is run by a lovely lady called Jim, who was extremely helpful. We arrived about 4.30 pm and she immediately told us about La Khrong, the annual festival when Thais float beautifully handmade rafts and baskets across water with candles lit in them, an amazing sight. She told us exactly where to get the bus to the Old... More

We spent two nights in this lovely place. The small guesthouse with 8 wooden bungalows in a small garden, is run by a family. The accommodation is very clean. The mother speeks a good english. The guest house provides a own restaurant, where you can have breakfast or dinner. Everything is freshly prepared. You can book almost every thing over... More

We stayed a couple of nights in Mai 2015. The people at the reception were friendly and welcoming, and able to speak in English and French as well. The bungalows are cosy and the little garden is nice, brightened up with colorful flowers. A precision however: this guesthouse does not have any swimming pool, contrary to some pictures we can... Took a nice stroll from the bus terminal, after saying no to the pissed of songthaew drivers (even the information center there lies about the distance to the city..) and got lucky with J&J and the helpful staff. Got one of the few budget options they had (250b/dbl) and could not be happier. Super comfy bed, spotless room, nice little... More

Located a couple of minutes walk from main road where the restaurants, street food and market is. Bungalows themselves are very roomy with great AC (we actually got cold). They are all standalone Bungalows with a good shared garden for the guests. WiFi hit and miss depending on what room your in but fine in the garden.

We arrived pretty late at the guesthouse (7h trip from Bangkok) and found nobody at the guesthouse. One of the other guests informed us that she would be back soonish. She didn't have any clue we were coming so it all seemed a bit disorganised. The bungalows\rooms are small but very neat. No complaints there. The minor turnoff is that... More

We stayed in one of J&J's lovely Bungalows for a few nights end of November 2014. The bungalow was clean and spacious, the staff very friendly and helpful. Location is good as well, as close to city centre but not noisy. Can highly recommend this place!

We arrived in Sukkothai off the bus from Bangkok and after the journey where exhausted so needed somewhere to drop our bags off quick we viewed a hostel with the Tuk Tuk driver which was horrible and had literally hundreds of mosquitos outside the door I recieved 5 bites in less than a minute! Eventually we decided to ditch the... More

We took a sweet little bungalow for around 800 baht. Comfy bed, good-sized room, hot showers, on-site restaurant and bar. The only downside was that it is opposite a school and you are awoken very early in the morning by the children chanting and singing. If you're an early riser it won't be a problem and, to be fair, it... More

I headed to this place expecting a marvellous riverside location. Cannot see the river from the site. Bungalow was ok, apart from having a pointless window that cannot be opened and a sink in the bedroom. The fresh baguettes are a lie aswell. Really loud temple woke us up at 6am for 2 mornings. Location is down dark alley full... More

“The guesthouse is situated next to a school that is located on the road when you enter the premises the further you can get from the road the better as school starts early and the children do some form of assembly and due to the lack of soundproofing in the bungalows this may wake you up.”
