Proceed with caution when using booking.com its always good to cross check things. In the photos it looked great, the initial impression on arrival was positive but it was a thin veneer I felt so sorry for the staff they tried their hardest, the room was fine the pool was fine the breakfast was acceptable, just. A two star guesthouse in town would have been just as good and half the price. The location was problematic next to a six lane freeway unless you had a car the only way to get anywhere was by taxi. The restaurant food in the evening was take out from another venue and there was no bar. If somewhere is promoted as a spa resort you expect certain boxes to be ticked!

This place was a nightmare for us to find but that's because the signage is in Thai and I'm certainly not complaining about that. If you're arriving by car, turn into the driveway right next to the LPG station, on the south side. Located about 30 minutes out of town, it's obviously not a wise choice without transport but it does seem to be aimed more at Thai visitors (there is a university across the road). It's quiet - we only saw one other guest during our stay. The gardens are extensive and peaceful with a number of sitting areas amongst the greenery. Many of the plants have signage attached with details of the plant - the gardener obviously loves his work. Our room was large and clean, beds are comfortable and the air conditioning worked well but the hot water didn't work at all. The pool area is lovely and while there is the structure of a pool bar, it doesn't look like it's been used for quite some time. Breakfast was a big surprise - standard choices but great food and even better coffee, all served with a smile. The staff we came across were very friendly. A good choice for a stopover.

Quiet boutique hotel. Ideal stopover location if travelling North/South on Route 11. Lovely quiet, set in pleasant gardens with very nice pool. No evening meals but 7/11 by car 5 min and many good restaurants in town. Good breakfast. Reasonably priced. Welcoming staff
