We went for golf and it was another enriching experience playing in this well-designed golf course that offered varied challenges. Hitting up to a green situated about 15 m higher than the tee-box about 140 m distance; crossing a 170 m ravine to a narrow fairway; knocking your ball 145 m away to an island-green about 10 m below the tee-box, driving 150m to an obscured fairway, etc make this course enjoyable. Some fairways were somewhat wet (perhaps from the rain the night before) but mostly well-maintained. The caddies were trying their best and as they didn't speak English, it made golfing at Katathong more challenging but their language deficiency was fully compensated by their keenness to ensure we had an enjoyable golf game. My wife and I had a great game at this great golf course (our 2nd time after 4 years of absence). Thank you Katathong for providing us with a great time together. …

We all could not speak mor highly of our experience at this unbelievable golf club. the course is set amongst three mountains and the vista was amazing. in spite of the torrential rain, we had the most memorable day playing some absolutely unbelievable holes. The caddies were great, the pro shop was extensive and value, and the meals were superb. Thanks especially to Ou the Golf Manager for his personal attention. All golfers should try this course!

Beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Amazing value for money. Only small thing would maybe be a bit more training for the staff. Who were lovely but sometimes a little unsure. The food cud also be slightly improved to the standards of the rest of the hotel. Overall would definitely go back

The Katatong golf resort is spectacular with wonderful mountain views. The pool access room has a great veranda area with direct access to the large swimming pool. The sapphire restaurant has an extensive menu (both food and beverages) the staff led by (Singapore) Sling provide fantastic service with great enthusiasm and as usual a big smile on their faces. “Words can not really describe this place” my wife plans to return with our family from overseas when the spa reopens in October 2022

Total satisfaction! We were looking for relaxing, re-energizing and enjoying nature trips at Phang Nga Bay and famous visits of the National Park including James Bond island for a week. This Resort is well located and one can also plan activities like river rafting located within only 10min by car. My girlfriend had good time swimming in the large pool of the hotel and tasting different (virgin)cocktails each night while I had my load of tasty and healthy breakfast and dinner. The place has fast wifi and bedrooms are really comfortable with high ceiling and jacuzzi on balcony. We particularly enjoyed the views on the Golf and the service provided by a kind and professional staff. Surely, we will come back to repeat this experience once again.

it is very nice hotel, very good service, good food very nice clean rooms, great pool and beautiful views. Do not go to bungalows, it did not t work for us ( they are rather small and no spectacular views ) in addition Great golf course, very beautiful , not easy but also not too difficult. Awesome place. Would love to come back.

The hotel itself was very nice, the room was comfortable, but the hotel is not ready to open for guest to stay. No swimming pool, no gym. Facilities are very lacked down. The restaurant staff cannot really speak English. They do have a gold course. During check-in, the staff didn't my passport, instead of calling me at 10:30 pm at night requesting it because they said they have to submit the report, It was so unacceptable. Other than that, the stay was ok, close to nature. Would recommend staying here once the hotel is ready!

Just had a 2 day golfing break at the resort with a couple of great friends..Absolutely wonderful fun.The course is magnificent and has some real challenging holes for all handicaps..I live in Phuket and have to say its well worth the short distance off the island to play this. The resort has the comfiest pillows I have encountered anywhere and I spend a lot of time in hotels. food is cheap and tasty.Tony the resort manager and his staff can,t do enough to help. Highly recommend making time to play this gem.

Six of us had a great time at the resort despite the course posing some technical challenges to some members of my group, like Hole No 15, 17 and 18. These were never setbacks. Overall, the course was well maintained and the staff was very helpful. Nat, our point of contact had done an excellent job, arranging from transport to caddies.. The caddies were friendly and pleasant, knowledgeable except for the newer ones. They helped to make the game more pleasant and entertaining throughout our stay in Katathong. The restaurant served excellent Thai food, even if the menu might be somewhat restricted. A little too salty for our taste but overall these were very edible. The deep fried fish was so good that we ordered another helping. SHIOK!!! The service was super and how I wish Kaab Gulay staff learn from them on providing simple and effective services. Prices were reasonable too. The hotel room was well furnished and of good size. The bed was comfortable and cleanliness was of high standard. We had good sleep at this hotel. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we are planning to come back again. Thank you and well done Katathong.…

We booked in for the stay and play package which includes 2 rounds of golf and a stay over in the hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised to be given golf view rooms with jacuzzis on the balcony. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and lunch the next day before leaving and the food we had was all excellent especially the Thai dishes. The course was very well presented and had some very interesting holes. Caddies were extremely helpful as were all the staff we came across. We hope to come back here one day as it was very memorable!
