The Katatong golf resort is spectacular with wonderful mountain views. The pool access room has a great veranda area with direct access to the large swimming pool. The sapphire restaurant has an extensive menu (both food and beverages) the staff led by (Singapore) Sling provide fantastic service with great enthusiasm and as usual a big smile on their faces. “Words can not really describe this place” my wife plans to return with our family from overseas when the spa reopens in October 2022

Total satisfaction! We were looking for relaxing, re-energizing and enjoying nature trips at Phang Nga Bay and famous visits of the National Park including James Bond island for a week. This Resort is well located and one can also plan activities like river rafting located within only 10min by car. My girlfriend had good time swimming in the large pool of the hotel and tasting different (virgin)cocktails each night while I had my load of tasty and healthy breakfast and dinner. The place has fast wifi and bedrooms are really comfortable with high ceiling and jacuzzi on balcony. We particularly enjoyed the views on the Golf and the service provided by a kind and professional staff. Surely, we will come back to repeat this experience once again.

Pros: Breakfast was nice even they didn't offer any pastry and only 2 types of fruits. The hotel looked nice, rooms were tidy, common pool was clean and beautiful in the day and in the evening time.
Choice of bikes was fine enough for adults.
The bathtub with air bubbles and lights on a balcony was a perfect gift after each active day we had, thanks!
Cons: The hotel had a promo leaflets with boat ducks mentioned, but they told personally that they do not have any.
Good we have found one old pedal boat by ourselves and used it to travel around the main lake.
Bicycles provided were not in good condition: at 6AM I checked mountainbikes they have available - only 2 of them were near the lobby (few citybikes were there but the location has hills so citybikes were not the best choice. - one of MTBs had back wheel stuck (no spinning at all) - 2nd had none of speedswitches working (speed was stuck on 1-8) and only one brake working. It was ok, but after first hill climb chain started slipping and I had to switch speed manually to 2-7, after that it worked perfectly for me.
Sad they didn't have any kid bikes at all so I had to ride alone, when my kid had to stay at the hotel, please add few kid bikes along with adult bikes and this could make your hotel more family friendly!

We really liked this remote and green location. The hotel is set in lush green landscape with a massive pool and lovely views across the golf course. We weren’t interested in the golf but used our stay to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Given its remote location, the hotel has a captive audience for dinner - and unfortunately the dinner service and staff attention was very slow every night. The hotel staff really didn’t care about checking if we wanted any service or prompt attention to clear away. Customer service in the restaurant at night and around the pool really needs attention.

We had such an amazing stay at Katathong Hotel! Everything was absolutely perfect, and it’s such great value for money. The staff were super kind and always ready to help with anything we needed.
The owner, in particular, was incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us when my husband got sick and needed to go to the hospital. They arranged free transport for us to and from the hospital, which made such a stressful situation so much easier. We were really touched by how much they cared.
The food was fantastic—every meal was delicious, and the breakfast was especially great with so many options to choose from.
The hotel itself is such a peaceful and relaxing place, perfect for recharging. We’re so grateful for everything they did for us and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone. It’s a place we’ll always remember!

it is very nice hotel, very good service, good food very nice clean rooms, great pool and beautiful views. Do not go to bungalows, it did not t work for us ( they are rather small and no spectacular views ) in addition Great golf course, very beautiful , not easy but also not too difficult. Awesome place. Would love to come back.

Not recommended as a left-handed person who needs to rent the glof clubs. Unfortunately, if you're left-handed, you can only rent very old Mizuno clubs there. The fairways were very dry and full of weeds. the greens were good to play. The caddy was very competent and could give good tips.

We had so much fun. Found this place. Surrounded by beautiful nature We immersed ourselves in the beauty of the place. and enjoy a variety of activities, such as free bicycles, offered by the property. Extremely lovely hotel in a lovely setting. Away from the bustle of the city. As the name suggests, it’s a golf resort up in the mountains. The road goes into hairpin turns as we approach the resort area, for about 15 minutes. Need to be cautious when driving You’ll need a car for sure, to get here. Khao Lak is about 45 minutes away. Nothing much to do in this area, but the resort itself is big and nice to explore. There’s a walking path to a temple and waterfall within the compounds. The meals are nice, at the Sapphire Restaurant, the only one there. The spa is also well run with a large selection of massage and therapies. Rooms are spacious, but not the villas. We wrongly booked the villas, but upgraded ourselves to the rooms, which is much better.
