I spent 6 nights at this location. A wonderful and comfortable place set in beautiful greenery, water pools with huge fishes. The cottages are unique, charming and cozy. I initially booked a cottage but changed to one of the rooms with a mountain view. I did this as I practice Qi Kong (Chi Kung) and needed space to do all of the exercise routines. The boutique is located in walking street and on the whole even with the bars and music I found it peaceful. Pen and the entire team are attentive, kind, supportive, charming and fun to speak to. They really do give you a personal service and make you feel comfortable. Rooms are well equipped and always full of complimentary water in glass (not plastic, so helping the environment) and other drinks and snacks. I enjoyed the food, had dinner a number of times and breakfast is included in the room/cottage rates.

Read a lot of good reviews on Pai Village before our trip but it exceeded my expectations. The bamboo huts were great with their nice little balcony and just the whole ambience of the property was so beautiful. Mosquitos are plentiful at dusk ,but the hotel burns mosquito coils early evening.
The breakfast buffet is served in the open dining room which open to the street . There was a nice international selections of food and beverages. We stayed at the property during Loy Krathong so there was a night of music and dancing (with the front of the house staff) So fun! The manager gave us the floating flower arrangements and told us where to go to send them off down the river.
I can't say enough about all the employees there and how helpful they were. Add and Kim went out of their way to take care of our needs. One of the employees couldn't reach the scooter rental for closing hours so he ran all the way down the street to get the info for my daughter! Wow! We also had a loud frog chirping situation outside our room keeping my husband up and night and they relocated us the next night.
The location couldn't of been better-just around the corner from the nightly market and night spots . The bus stop was walking distance but the hotel gave us a lift with all our bags back to the bus on our departure.
Hope to return to Pai someday and will definitely be staying at Pai Village Boutique again.

We stayed only one night at this lovely place, which has a wonderful location close to the river and right in the centre of everything. The staff are attentive and helpful, the room we had was the smallest but cozy with an incredibly comfortable bed (we slept from 10:30pm-8:00am!), and the bonus was the excellent breakfast the next morning. You can choose one hot main (eggs and sausage for example, or congee if you want something Thai), but the rest is all buffet (coffee/tea/juice/toast/fruit/cereal). The homemade jams were amazing - make sure you try the coconut jam as well as the Thai tea custard. Next time we will stay longer and opt for a larger room to make it a "home away from home".

The guest "lodges" vary in size and are generally set in a beautifully green garden setting. We had booked through an agent and we ended up in the smallest lodge on the site, located right at the end with very little greenery. Sadly it was no bigger than a garden shed with very little room for luggage. The nights were quite cold and with no form of heating we spent a couple of uncomfortable nights. Make sure you know how large your lodge is when you book and bring pyjamas!!
The hotel is very close to many bars and night spots which is handy but on one of the nights the loud music went on quite late.
On the plus side the staff were delightful and we would totally recommend the restaurant where we had a couple of the best steaks we had tasted for years.

The hotel is perfectly located at the end of the walking street (daily night market) and the huts are located in a lush green garden, amidst many small water streams. Unfortunately, with the water come the mosquitos... Mosquitos in the morning, mosquitos in the afternoon, mosquitos at dinner. A net is provided in the hut, but it's still very frustrating not being able to spend a few minutes in the hammock, by the pool or at the dinner table without showering in DEET first. In addition, we had cockroaches in the bathroom and got to 'enjoy' a frog concert all night, every night. The shower head was fixed at an uncomfortable height of around 170cm and there wasn't much choice inbetween freezing cold and searing hot. Also, the bed was quite uncomfortable. Breakfast was alright, yet basic. What really rubbed me the wrong way though, was the fact that their coffee was quite terrible, while they offered an option to purchase 'better' coffee (e.g. a Latte) for an additional 45 Baht. The pool is tiny and barely worth mentioning.
All in all, the hotel wasn't terrible, but it certainly didn't live up to its 4 star standards. It reminded me more of a camping trip than a luxury resort. If that's what you're looking for, then go right ahead. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what we had expected. In my opinion, it was bad value for the money we paid and therefore, we won't be returning to The Village!

Our stay at Pai Village Resort was amazing.
The staff, especially the manager Eddy, is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was very clean and cozy. We loved the porch with the hammock and the way the village is laid out like a nature resort with lots of beautiful trees and a stream along the path to the huts.
The complimentary breakfast far exceeded our expectations in variety and quality of food. Eddy also arranged a private car for us for a half day tour around Pai (the driver, Pong, is actually a resort employee and is super friendly and nice!) at a very reasonable price.
The resort is also right on the popular Pai walking street so in just a few steps from your room you can be amongst lots of little local shops and street food vendors. There is also a wonderful bar across the street from the resort that has amazing live music almost everyday! We would definitely stay at Pai Village resort the next time we are in the area!

We originally booked this hotel for 2 nights, thinking we’d see how we liked it and whether we liked Pai and surrounds. We ended up extending for 3 more nights and then another 2. The rooms are great - really well designed and clean with nice outdoor space. We found the little balcony the perfect place to retreat after a long hike or big day. It’s within walking distance of the main food options - but the hotel itself is pretty quiet. The staff were fantastic throughout. From the first bit of assistance in parking the car through to attentiveness to anything we needed. Really great place.

This hotel is perfectly located in Pai, the restaurant was amazing, and the staff are beyond helpful. I stayed in a beautiful garden bungalow, which is a little smaller than most of the pictures, but still wonderful. I ate dinner there every night, had amazing drinks, and listened to the one-man band that would serenade the diners. The staff at the hotel also arranged a trip to see all the sites around Pai, and the manager even gave me a ride back to Chiang Mai. I wish I could have stayed longer because it felt like the first place in a while where I could fully relax.

Addy spoilt us during our visit. He arranged door to door transport from Chiang Mai to Pai. There was water in the van and the driver stopped for us to have lunch on the way. Chiang Mai to Pai is a beautiful drive. The driver called ahead and when we arrived at PVB, the staff were ready to take our luggage and usher us into reception where we were seated on the couch and offered cool drinks. A quick visit to the desk to register and then they moved us and our luggage to our room which was divine.
Addy suggested a couple of places to use to visit, the White Buddha, the Bamboo Bridge and Pai Canyon. He arranged transport for us and we were back in air conditioning before it got hot.
PVB had the best breakfast on our trip, nine kinds of jams and spreads, delicious breads, asian and western breakfast.
It is a beautiful location, you can never have enough trumpet flowers and we even had our lunch beside the pool.
Next time, I am going to stay here longer.

Hi!
Priceline has to be wrong. I have seen very blanket times are provided when Priceline, Expedia, etc don't know the hotel's check-in/out times.
Pai Village is very accommodating to check-in and check-out and you should be fine at this time in the year.
If you really want be sure, give them a call at +66 (0) 5369 8152. Use Skype (call would be less than $1.50 USD) as it would be much cheaper than any typical phone plan.
yes each villa have their own sink, toilet and shower. this is more like a hotel.
cheers

No they don't but there's a local pool nearby which is great for food and drinks.
