Royal Nakhara Hotel is nice and offers a quiet night even though it is located besides a busy road from Nongkhai to friendship Thailand-Laos. The hotel is nice anc clean. The staff are smiling and friendly. Foods are delicious and have enough to choose. Rooms are not really small but very nice. Comfortable beds. Do recommend and will come again.... More

Easy to find off highway 2, follow road to Laos/Thai Fruendship Bridge. New, modern hotel about 2k from Nongkhai Pier which is on the Mekong. OK you don't get a view of the river, but you get to stay in a 5star feel hotel with beautiful rooms and a great breakfast room, all included. Tuktuk costs 50thb per person, ie... More

Hotel looks new with beautiful building style. Despite locate outside Nong Kai town, transportation still convenience since it is on main road to the first Thai-Laos friendship bridge. Big parking space in front of hotel lobby. Clean room with comfortable bed. Plenty of TV channels although some channels have poor signal. Room decoration is simple but look good. Amenities in... I book for one night this hotel but just look at a fair price and it was OK. Hotel is clean and without surprise. Nice and good size rooms, with balcony and aircon, AMB includen tha all for 1000 baths. It is worth for the price.

The Thai wife and I stayed here for a night in January. With Nong Khai being on the banks of the Mekong River I was a little disappointed it was not closer to the river however this was dispelled next day when we saw that areas closer to the river were a little unkempt. As soon as we parked in... More

Many things were wrong. Had to move rooms to get a decent wifi connection. Then not enough hot water for a shower. Staff are clueless and manger just says sorry. If this place is the best in town, the other must be terrible. The other reviewers must have stayed at a different hotel to me. The TV channel list in... More

Dear Mr.pa3576, We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences you’ve encountered during your stay. It was unfortunate that our city experienced a significant drop in temperature (from 30c to lower than 10c in a day) due to the Siberian cold wave, which happened to be the strongest wave in decades. This unprecedented occurrence caused our hotel’s hot water system to... More

The room is spacious in which you can enjoy view of serenity Nong Khai can provide you. The staffs are well-trained and helpful, service with proper manner (they smile almost all the time), and communicate well in English. Breakfast is well prepared in Both American Style and Traditional Non Khai Style where you can enjoy delicious Kai Ka Ta (Pan-Fired... More
