The hotel is located less than 100 m from the Thailand-Myanmar gate, and, considering the visa-runs to Myanmar are now "forbidden", guess not so many foreigners would end up here (and would stay in Mae Sai in general). Anyway, for the price of 450 baht it was reasonably OK - no outside window, but a large room with table and...

Often stay here when doing a visa run. Okay so it's never going to get a five star rating, but it's cheap and offers a location which is hard to beat in my book, which is why i've returned more than once. Also there's access to great street food outside and the local market is a stone's throw away.

Only 300 meters away from Thai-Myanmar border, the gateway to Tachileik, 500 meters walking distance to the famous Doi Wao Temple (the Scoppian Temple) and 40 km to Sob Ruak (Golden Triangle). It is one of the best locations in town.

I just left the Top North quite pissed off. My room with a fan was 50 degrees at 3pm. Yes, 50 degrees. I felt sick it was so hot and could not stay in the room. Though the very money minded owner's wife said she would refund my money (I was just there 2 hours and didn't mess the place...

The hotel itself needs work, but it's the cheapest you can find in Agoda at $9/room. To be sure, ask to see the room first before checking in. It's a few steps away from the border (which is really what matters) and right smack in the thick of the market scene. A fair value for an overnight stay.

I was recommended to stay at Top North by a friend in Mae Sai. I am so glad I was sent their way. First order of business is to address the beds... COMFY! The whole place is clean and the sheets, towels, and comforters are regularly washed. The staff is so friendly and helpful and speak English well. I booked...

It's been more than a year that I've stayed here and it's by far the worst hotel i have ever seen. I came to MaeSai for border run and didn't book in advance so just looked on the outside. From the outside this hotel looks good compared to others, but when you see your room you will be in for...

At a price of 700 baht with air con and hot shower and great location and clean room, there is nothing to complain about. Being an old hotel, there is also nothing to shout about. Do note that parking outside hotel will incur tons of bird shut......

If you only need a room for the night for a fair price you can´t do anything wrong. We had a room in the 4th floor ( no lift) towards the main road which of course is quite noisy until the last market stands are dismantled (around 22:30) The room was clean-ish, the (yellow over blue) paint job rather funny....
