During our roadtrip our first stop was Lampang. We booked a different hotel at first but arriving there, the hotel was not finished and fully in construction. So we drove to river lodge, second on our list. The staff was very friendly, our room was very lovely and the scenery was very beautiful. We had lunch in the restaurant, which... More

This is a gem in the jungle! Small but very modern rooms all in a colonial Thai wrapping. Thoughts of Anna and the King run through our minds when we are here. Great staff and a wonderful restaurant, a hot pool near the large pond give this a 10 out of 10 on the scale! And to top it all,... More

A village style resort beside Lampang River. Our group took 6 cottage-style rooms for one night. Service was thoughtful and very good. They made sure you had a table reserved in the restaurant upon checking in which was a nice gesture. Room appointments were well adequate and little things like umbrellas were in the rooms. The food in the restaurant... More

This was the third hotel we stayed in during our honeymoon trip. Although the resort is quite old and needs some remodelling the surroundings area is magnificent. It looks taken from one Indiana Jones movies. the fauna and flora are spectacular. I strongly recommend this place to honeymooners and to those who want to relax in this small paradise. We... More

So yes, the grounds are beautiful, but the rooms are awful. Wood peeling off the doors, damp, musty-smelling, bugs everywhere, rips in the sheets.... this was not a good experience. Don't know what the cost was for a one night stay as we were traveling with a group and had prepaid the whole trip. Some in out party said their... More

If you are looking for nature this is your hotel in thailand, you would stay in the middle of the jungle surrounded by many kinds of animals, scorpions, snakes, spiders and a lot of different trees and plants! We stayed there for one night and it was incredibly magic! The room was like little wood house with a large double... More

My partner and I visited this hotel as a relaxing pit stop during our tour of Thailand. Unfortunately we were left with mixed feelings. The hotel itself is located quite a distance from Lampang and if you want to get in to the city you need to get the hotel to order a taxi for you. Do not make the... More

We stayed for a night and had a lovely experience. On arrival you walk through the lovely grounds, past the beautiful open lotus flowers (the flowers open at night and close during the morning). Breakfast is in an open terrace overlooking the river, and even when the river is low we saw Pelicans and storks feeding, along with butterflies and... More
