I have stayed here 2 times. Hotel is about 3 minutes walk from bus station. Near to Big C supermarket with walk and about 5 minutes to Central Plaza with car. Staff is friendly. Rooms have a/c , big bathroom and clean. However price of 590 baht per night is a little expensive. Overall good hotel. I will stay here again.

We stayed at C2 Residence during our bicycling trip from Ayutthaya to Chiang Mai. It is conveniently located near the main bus station on the highway to Chiang Mai as well very close to the Big C shopping mall. We booked in advance by telephone. The day prior we were contacted by the management for reconfirmation, so this worked out quite well.

We took standard rooms. The rooms were a bit small, but comfortable and modern. They were equipped with satellite television (32 Inch flat screens!) and DVD player, air-conditioning, modern bathroom with hot shower and a large refrigerator.

Personnel were very friendly and helpful and above all it was clean. The hotel had a parking lot behind the building.

C2 Residence provided also free Wi-Fi. The lobby was attractive, had some good armchairs (very comfortable after a 700 Km bike ride) and was at the same time a kind of a coffee parlor.

In conclusion: Good accommodation, good rate and seemingly in high demand.

Only 5 minutes to the main bus station to everywhere...Bangkok, Chiangmai, Prae etc. A bit far from the old market and the weekend walking street, but you can get "song-taew" the public transport for only 20 baht per person. You should take the hotel business card with you because some drivers do not know this new hotel.

C2 is new and very clean, room was a bit small but OK for the price. They have sitting area where you can have a cup of coffee or drink before getting on the bus.

Honestly, don't get the 5* reviews! The owner was very helpful, the rest of the staff much less so, maybe a language issue, too difficult to say HELLO or GOOD MORNING in Thai, to a falang. Room was ok, aircon less so, worked miserably, had to turn it to 19C at midnight to actually get the room cooled down (in November, when it really is not hot outside!). Limited parking at the back of the house. Breakfast consists of toast and jam and Nescafe (good coffee is extra).

I really liked this modern mini hotel. My room (#303) was spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated in a minimalistic sort of way. Some of the highlights include:

* Big bathroom with very hot water.
* A/C worked great.
* Good strong wifi signal with decent speed.
* Surprisingly quiet for the location.
* Super clean and modern feeling.
* Large flat screen TV w/ DVD player and free DVD collection at front desk (although mostly in Thai).
* Good value for the standard room.

This hotel is geared towards both Thai tourists and foreigners, although I was the only foreigner there during my stay. The price was great considering how nice the room was (I paid 580 baht). Be aware that there is no restaurant and none nearby that I could find (except the food court at Big-C).

I can only see two possible downsides. First is location. It is very convenient if you are taking buses because it is one block from the station. It is also around the corner from 7-11 and Big-C. However, it is quite far from the center of town and the main tourist area. This wasn't an issue for me because I rented a motorbike. Also, there are songthaews that will take you anywhere in town for 20 baht and there are tons of them at the bus station a block away. Seond potential issue is that there is no social scene for people wanting to connect with other travelers.

Overall the place was great and I recommend it.

PS - If you want to rent a motorbike there are none near the hotel. I walked around for many hours and finally found out that there are threw rental shops over in the tourist area by the river (right near Riverside Guest House).

Found myself in transition between Chiang Rai and Suhkothai...needed to overnight in a spot and found this little gem only a 5 minute walk from the bus station.

Room was clean and bright - so happy to find this after so many dingy budget rooms on my journey. A short walk brought me into the heart of Lampang - even shorter to the shopping complexes close to the hotel - easy to find a quick meal and some staples to get me through the next couple of days.

Lobby of hotel is also a coffee bar. Sweet little fountain provided that wonderful water noise. Unfortunately, fountain I think attracts a few mozzies, so wear your bug spray. Lots of munchies available in lobby area. Prices are fine for beer, soft drinks, water, etc. But if you want to save and buy some breakfast food - try the Big C around the corner. Very easy and relatively safe to walk to.

Wifi worked very well from guest room and lobby area. Would highly recommend if you are just in transit to another location.

I booked one week in this hotel and ended up staying three! This is a very nice hotel with extremely friendly and accomodating staff. The location is ideal for exploring Lampang and the wider area. The staff always greeted me with their biggest smiles and warmth which made me feel very welcome. They helped me out when I needed to go to a rural location in a hurry and accommodated every minor and major request. I will return here again

It is a nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms. The staff if very friendly.

Was suprised how close to the bus station it actually is. Basically it's across the street. They also let us leave our bags here during the day so its great for late or early bus departures.

Outside of the main town but this isn't too much of an issue if you are ok with a bit of a walk or you can just go to the bus station and get one of those trucks-converted-into-a-public-taxis-thing.

Would stay again :)

This is a quiet tranquil haven just a minute from the bus station and only a short walk to the railway station. It is a little far from the riverside centre of Lampang but we are on a cycle tour and so have bikes. The Big C is less than 5 minutes walk away and offers a good range of eating options, KFC, Mk Suki, Pizza, or thai street vendors etc.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming
And coffee and toast breakfast is included. The only slight negative is the breakfast coffee is limited to sachets of '3 in 1' if you like your coffee black without sugar bring your own 'instant'

The room was light and airy, the shower was hot and powerful, the room was equipped with a flat screen TV and dvd player and a collection of dvds are free to borrow. Be warned, though, we tried a couple of dvds that appeared to be English but both were dubbed in thai and we couldn't find a way around it.

Thank you C2 for a relaxed stay
