The photo is a view of the sunrise from our balcony. Very peaceful, though there's a bit of inevitable noise from the motor traffic across the river. Breakfast included. Very helpful feedback from the owner about what to do in the area. We're going on a carriage ride tour of the town this morning. Recommended!

Lampang is a must visit! Much less hectic and touristy than Chang Mai, with loads of charming places to stay. Riverside Guesthouse is a bit on the expensive side, but worth every baht. We paid 400 for a double room with fan, which was perfect even in the August heat. If they are fully booked, just continue down the street... More

An awesome hotel with the charm of ancient Thailand with a modern flair. The Jeeps and motorcycles just inside the front gate were a lot of fun to look at. The room was not fancy but had a nice quality to it that would have me come back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful house using simple yet comfortable local furniture and textiles. Our room and balcony overlooked the river. It was hot and humid and we appreciated the air conditioning. The highlight was the delicious breakfast and wonderful French toast!

I love the view in the evening with the beer in my hand. In the morning, serve me with the yummy breakfast and homemade banana jam. Nice view all day. The decoration in the room is unique and beautiful. Atmosphere in the morning is the best thing that I get. I will be back soon.

A simple little jewel on the banks of the river: relax, smiles and family atmosphere. The terraced garden right on the river is lush and beautiful with lots of little corners to rest, have a drink or get massaged. A typical wooden Thai house with few lovely rooms (all different). Lorenza, the owner, is very nice and friendly. Very good... More

Great old buildings and super-friendly owners make a really nice atmosphere. Don't expect super-modern luxury here. It's like an old French farmhouse, complete with squeaky floorboards, ill-fitting doors and big old furniture. It's totally charming! Also - don't book on an online booking website (booking.com etc) their rates are ridiculous, just phone the owner or turn up on the day... More

The owners are incredibly helpful and accommodating while not being too eager or overbearing. We botched our online booking, called reception on the phone, and were offered a night's stay in their son's extra bedroom because they were already full. So appreciative of the hospitality!

This is a charming guest house in the charming Town of Lamphang. It's on the river and is of a wooden structure which adds to the charm & authenticity of Thailand. Lorenza is a charming hostess & her staff very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Now to Lamphang itself, which is uncluttered, unlittered & soooo clean that it was... More

The room was musty and not of a modern standard. The room was noisy and of poor quality. Breakfast is included but it is not a buffet. You are offered a few choices; not a place for those with a big appetite. We travelled through Thailand and Laos for a month. This place was the poorest quality and most over-priced... More
