Beautiful scenery along the river. The garden is maintained very well. Helpful staff. Great location. Free breakfast. However I was disappointed in the facilities. There was a hair in my sink and shower prior to us entering. The shower had no hot water. The walls are awfully thin. I have no confidence in their security system (A physical lock on...

Great location, within walking distance to a lot of sights and good restaurants. The staff are very helpful and they have a great map for the city. The building, being historic, was a little rickety and you can hear everyone in their rooms. The guesthouse has a bit of a hostel vibe without the actual shared rooms which is fun.

we really loved the buildings, a typical thai house complex, the renovation they made is very good and the garden is really cared too. we had a superior room with a beautiful wooden terrace facing the river, the room itself was not very large but for us it was ok. the bathroom ensuite is not at the level of the...

Stayed here several years ago. Traditional old teak buildings right alongside the river with small cafe and open air long beneath. Good location and friendly. Several more little guest houses along the same soi. The wooden structures do mea that rims can get hit and air gaps allow mossies in - just take repellant

Guest house with a lot of small lovely things: brook with fishes, waterfalls, sculptures, rusty retro bike, hummocks, umbrellas, books quite little places etc. a lot of different plants, so you like in hand-made jungle garden. Wooden buildings with traditional simple furniture. For our friends who want big luxe room with personal huge balcony and terry robe: it's not your...

Got to stay in this hotel by chance in August after checking several places in Lampang and it's eventually the right lucky choice for me. Essentially, hotel is right on the bank of Wang River, which is like vein of Lampang. Hotel is located in the main city side of the river, as such within among shops, restaurants, walking street,...

The photo is a view of the sunrise from our balcony. Very peaceful, though there's a bit of inevitable noise from the motor traffic across the river. Breakfast included. Very helpful feedback from the owner about what to do in the area. We're going on a carriage ride tour of the town this morning. Recommended!

Lampang is a must visit! Much less hectic and touristy than Chang Mai, with loads of charming places to stay. Riverside Guesthouse is a bit on the expensive side, but worth every baht. We paid 400 for a double room with fan, which was perfect even in the August heat. If they are fully booked, just continue down the street...

An awesome hotel with the charm of ancient Thailand with a modern flair. The Jeeps and motorcycles just inside the front gate were a lot of fun to look at. The room was not fancy but had a nice quality to it that would have me come back in a heartbeat.
