My trip during 3 - 7/3 here. All staff very kind service and try to help us. Our room is excellent, which have living room, counter bar, toilet, walk in closet and bedroom. My room numer15 which need to walk up, but we get panorama view with Sairee beach. Hope to come back again.
Everything about Koh Tao Cabana was amazing. The cabanas are beautifully acquainted and come with everything you could possibly need including jaw dropping views. The air conditioner was outstanding. The location is ideal as it’s a short drive from the main pier, which the pick you up and drop you off. The resort is walking distance to many stores and restaurants. The restaurant on the property was a daily favorite as well. There are also motorbike rentals on site. They literally have everything you will need. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the management and staff. Their kindness, attention to detail and assistance in making bookings are beyond what I’ve experienced while staying at the St. Regis in Aspen. I will always stay at Koh Tao Cabanas.
Trip Advisor only allows a maximum rating of 5 stars. However, if given the chance I would give this resort a rating of 10 !! Staying here was an amazing experience from top to bottom. My only regret is that we stayed here only 2 nights. We actually inquired what the monthly rate would be here and it was more than reasonable. We were assigned a bungalow suite with an incredible view of the beach. I found myself staring continuously throughout the day and early evening at the waves hitting the beach. The suite itself was large and extremely comfortable. I loved the Thai decor of the bungalow with all the furniture made of wood. The staff itself was extremely polite and charming and served a delicious breakfast at the restaurant. I felt guilty that the resort was nearly empty due to Covid. I can't emphasize enough how much we loved our experience here and cannot wait to return in the future.…
If you do not like to walk in the lush , go somewhere else . If you bring huge luggage (20-30 kg) with you to the room , it is going to be a little problem . For me I love this style of living. So rustic . Room is clean and well equipped . I did not bring much because I flew from Bangkok and I only spent 4 nights here . I do not wear heals to Island. If you like luxuries , go to Samui Island . I think thisIsland is good for Hiking and Snorkeling or Diving . Teenagers will love it here .
Stayed here recently for 3 nights. Funky accommodation, little wooden style house with a beautiful sea view all set in a green and leafy/flowery resort. Rustic thai accommodation, quite open to the elements (defo needed our mosquito repellant) whole resort is built on a hill so quite a lot of steps involved but worth it for the views. Beautiful beach area ‘picture postcard’ Koh Tao also has a lot to offer for evening food and drink choices the area is also well known for its ‘Dive School’ options, good for snorkelling.
The place is wonderful, it was our honeymoon, we were so exiting, but the treat us like people disturbing thèm. The staff leave there at the hôtel and let us fêel Like thé place is their place, and we are not welcoming, they don’t are Nice as all thé staff we met In our prévious hotel. We felt very bad There, when we left they don’t even mâke a smile and they drop us 1hour before The boat. I don’t récomend thé place, thaï people are Nice àd they are not Nice at all.
Amazing location (quiet - but in walking distance to town), room (clean, lots of space and well taken care of), staff (really friendly and helpful), beach (nice and also good to snorkel - lots of fishes), breakfast (more then enough. Thank you for the great stay! It was perfect!
My boyfriend and I loved our stay here. At first we were a bit dubious because of the sound coming from the other end of the beach (bars with fire dancers play pretty loud music) but we were pleasantly surprised that we barely heard a thing once in our room. The hotel is located at the very end of the beach (quieter part) but it’s super easy to walk to all of the restaurants and beach bars. We stayed in a treetop villa and it was great. Air con worked well, outside shower was cool. There were a bunch of steps to climb to get to the cottage but we appreciated the exercise. The room came with bug spray too. We ended up extending our stay in Koh tao and decided to stay longer at this hotel. We moved to a white sand villa (less steps to climb). This place was huge and really cool decor. We loved it as much as the tree top villa. This hotel is in a great location (near the action but not fully in it). Great sunsets from the beach. We hired the water taxi guy right next to our hotel to drive us around the island snorkeling for the day. Way better than the overcrowded boat trips. For four stops we paid 2000 baht. We could have negotiated a little less up the beach but we liked Bo (the guys name)- he didn’t seem sketch and filled a cooler up with water for us. Highly recommend a private long tail snorkeling trip over the big boats. So easy to arrange too, but haggle if you need to. Breakfast was our least favorite part of this hotel but not the worst we’ve ever had. Great views but don’t recommend eating here for dinner. Just walk to the awesome local restaurants nearby. We also rented a motorbike and the hotel arranged for us- 200baht a day. They dropped it off and picked it up. Also, free taxi service from the pier (just look for someone holding your sign). We didn’t realize this was even included and got off the boat and saw a man holding our hotel sign so we got in and it was free. Also free transfer back to the ferry. We had a 6am ferry and the hotel graciously made us a to go breakfast that we picked up the night before. Lovely staff, great location, away from the craziness but close enough to everything if you don’t mind a ten minute walk. We’d come back here. …
Overpriced. Not worth what you pay. I initially booked into an Airbnb on sairee beach which was like a jumbo youth hostel so I walked the beach, saw the cabanas and went in thinking it was idyllic place to spend Xmas. The front desk overcharged me to a point I was haggling with her showing her the online prices. I got a villa just behind the beach. It was so dark. The place was clean. Wi-Fi turned on and off at times. I went t beach to watch the sunset and I was booted off the bed at 6 on the button. I wrote already what I thought of sairee beach. It’s loud, very loud after midnight till 4 at least in the morning. It’s very dark coming back to hotel so if your nervous. Don’t but then your locked in your room for the night. From your bed you can hear everything. The food in restaurant was burnt, overcooked and unflavoured. The staff are over worked and tired. The place is tired. I completely made a huge mistake going here. I ended up leaving a day early and left the island. …
My husband and I stayed here over our honeymoon and it was our favorite hotel. It is located at the end of Sairree beach, so you can easily walk to all the restaurants and bars, but also have the calm quiet feel of the island. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff treated us very well. Clean and good air conditioning too!
