For the price, my favorite place to stay in all of Thailand. Away from all the hustle & busle, & peaceful. Clean rooms, & excellent staff. The views are beautiful, and the swimming & snorkeling are great straight from the property. Snorkeling gear can be rented inexpensively & is also in good condition. Sea salt swimming pool overlooking the bay...

If you ever want to get away from the mainstream busy crowd, this is the place to go. It's a fair drive from the ferry port. However it's situated up in the mountains and on the beach to a great ocean view. Truly what travelling is all about. The staff were very friendly. The food was nice. I made a...

Hin Wong Bungalows is located in the best bay for fans of snorkelling. I rented gear for three days in a row, because it was so beautiful. 100 baht per full day and the gear is okay. Got pretty badly burnt, because you don't feel the sun when you're floating in the water! I slept in a big dorm room...

I chose this place because of the good reviews I read. First when I arrived, 2 teenagers took care of me but not with a nice welcome. I felt I was disturbing... Quite a few stairs to get to the bungalow. The view over the sea, with trees around was nice, plus there was a hamac. But the bungalow we...

Really enjoyed it here, it's a bit of a difficult drive to get to as the roads are terrible. But it's a nice place, our room was spacious and really clean. We had our own kitchen area, really big bed. Looked out on the sea. Really lovely! The owner (elderly man) is fantastic - funny and full of stories! He's...

Hello (again!!) My review is a little bit late, but I did go back to Koh Tao yet again (I can't seem to stay away!). I stayed at Hin Wong Bungalows and also at Simple Life which I will cover in a different review. One great NEW amenity is that they now have Wi-fi in the restaurant when the power...

Located on a secluded beach in Ko Tao, the view from the porch of your bungalow is priceless, each bungalow has a bench and a hammock outside, 400BHT a night (10Euros). It's very basic just a bed, a toilet with a shower and a fan. The beds are very uncomfortable they're pretty much like a flat wooden surface with a...

The best thing about this place is the views you will have from the porch of your bungalow. At 400 baht a night for your own bungalow, I'd consider that a good value for your money, especially if you have someone to share it with. Understandably rustic (electricity is turned off during the daytime and the bathrooms aren't the best)...

Hin Wong bungalows offers basic bungalow accommodation - no frills no fuss. Each unit is private, simple and quiet. Electricity is only offered at night time as it runs off a generator. You feel as though you really can escape to paradise and chill out at Hin Wong Bungalows. The establishment is family run and have been in the area...

We found Hin Wong Bungalows by accident after visiting on our scooters - we immediately booked in for the next 2 nights. It's more secluded and low key than the rest of Koh Tao (it's also really reasonably priced in comparison too). The hosts are super lovely and serve great food so you never have to go far. The bungalows...

“We had bungalow 10 it had the best view by far! But it wasn't the cheapest costing 600 baht per night whereas other bungalows were 500 baht per night. The view was definitely worth the extra 100 baht”

“700 baht is not much to pay for a waterfront bungalow, and includes two double beds, but if you're willing to walk up the hill it's 500 baht and if you just want a small bungalow with no hammock out the front, it's 500 baht for one night or 350 baht per night if you stay two or more nights. Something for everyone, really.”
