We stayed at Coral View Resort for 9 nights, and it was one of the best stays we've ever had at any resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurant is fairly priced and tastes good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is spectacular. I really can't say enough good things about our stay at Coral View Resort. The location is far away from the main port, so it was fairly isolated, which is what we wanted. The resort was under some renovation during our stay, so there weren't many people there and the beach bar was closed, but that didn't take away from the loveliness of our stay. Aye, the shuttle driver, was extraordinarily accommodating and friendly and was one of the high points of our stay. The beach, which was a 2 minute walk from our bungalow, was absolutely gorgeous, and the water is crystal-clear with plenty of fish to view while snorkeling. There's a resort right next to Coral View, so there was a lot of cross-interaction with the people staying there, which was nice. There's also a dive shop right next to the resort called CV Divers, and you can rent gear from the owner; he was also very friendly and helpful. I came back to Coral View a second time after covid. The service is still amazing and staff is super friendly as usual. The bay is really close and accessible so I could go snorkle a couple of times a day. Saw more fishes this trip probably because the corals got some time to recover during covid. The turtle is still there chomping at sea spunges every afternoon! Coral View now offers DPV sea scooters for rental which is an incredible addition to my snorkle trips! The scooter is small and lightweight yet powerful, you should give it a try! As a digital nomad who's been scouting for short-term remote-friendly places in Thailand, Coral View is definitely on my list. The location and the view is great, rooms are clean, place is quiet and has good internet connection.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and we love it so much because of it's peaceful ambiance. The room is really great since we had the sea view room. Staff were nice & polite. Khun Ploy & Khun Lily in reception were both amazing for helping & organizing our transportation when we left the resort. If you want peaceful and calming place i highly recommend staying here. Would love to come back in the future.

We came to Coral View on recommendation from a friend for diving. We stayed in one of the sea view chalets. It’s a simple accommodations with comfortable bed, A/C and shower. We were given water daily and fresh towels. Breakfast was again simple, a choice of eggs, pancakes or chicken rice. All served with a plate of fresh fruits. The beach and beach bar was beautiful. We ate some great Thai food at the beach bar for lunch and dinner after diving. Cocktails were good, coconuts even better. Plenty of snorkelling to be done at the beach. The staff are lovely and accommodating. There is a shuttle service into town, which you can contact via Line/WhatsApp to be collected. We didn’t hire a scooter as it’s very steep to get to the hotel and the shuttle was very convenient. They also arranged for some ladies to come to the resort for a Thai massage, which was very good and comparable to prices on the rest of the island. We had a very relaxing time at Coral View, it’s a very simple accommodation but fair for the price. Our only suggestions would be to install a mosquito screen on the doors and to have a small soap dish by the sink in the bathroom. Thank you - we will recommend you to our friends in Thailand…

The good: AC works good, hot and cold water, beds are excellent, friendly staff. The bad: toilet has no seat, showers don't work, no cups in the rooms, no table or chairs, beach filled with trash, restaurant opens at 7:30, flies eat with you. This is a low class resort that's why it's cheaper. They have a "contact us" in their website but they never respond. They don't respond to emails either. Unfortunate to say, We didn't enjoy our stay at this resort.

We really enjoyed our stay as a family with young adult children during COVID travel restrictions. I think we were the only people at the resort most of the week. We stayed in the main building located right on the beach. The facilities need some maintenance, mostly outside but inside is was adequately comfortable and clean. The secluded beach and bay here is worth the stay our opinion. Beautiful view, nice sand, plenty of beach chairs and snorkeling off the beach. No swimming pool. Desperately needs access to water outside, like a foot wash station or outdoor shower, to rinse body, feet and snorkeling gear. The restaurant was a great place to relax, and has a pool table. They have good but limited in options because of less customers because of COVID, still plenty of basic Thai and western options. We enjoyed the breakfast each day, but the breakfast coffee is not good. They have better coffees at the lunch and dinner restaurant. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Jess and I had a 2 day stay at Coral View over Valentine’s weekend and it was wonderful! The room was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience perfect! I had a chance to go for a dive while jess topped up her tan on the sun loungers on the beach, we ate at the beach restaurant and the food was incredible and such a beautiful spot. We also did some sunset stand-up paddle boarding and it was the perfect way to spend the weekend. I already can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I enjoyed this resort so much. It is the definition of a peaceful break. Gorgeous views, beautiful beach, secluded and relaxing, all you can do is switch off, swim, sunbathe, read, and enjoy the beach bar offerings. Highly recommend! We didn’t even go beyond Coral View Resort in our 3 days on Koh Tao, chilling at our lovely beach hut room and relaxing. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I have just come back from a 2 week holiday there, I was unlucky with the weather and water quality but the Hotel was keen to keep me happy. The staff are great, mostly very young but try to please. You need earplugs sometimes as the wind and waves can be quite loud next to the beach, but on the whole I enjoyed the peace and quiet there. Once you are there it is at the bottom of a very steep hill but I decided not to rent a Moped, too much sand and dodgy roads, no real need to try and get your value out of your holiday insurance. I did visit the harbour, for about 2 hours, it stank of petrol fumes, not impressed at all so just stayed at the resort. I flew there and back with Thai Air, fantastic, next time I´ll travel just to Bangkok and get transport as the second flight to Surat Thani was just too long, 2 hour bus and 5 hour ferry! The Resort is perfect for diving etc, but check the weather first. It is also great for just chilling and getting some peace from stress. Enjoy yourselves, eat the Thai food and the pancakes are great.…

Went to Coral View because a friend has recommended to us. Glad we choose it over montaley resort in Tanote bay, the beach was much cleaner and more secluded. It is a bit out of the way but tue hotel provided many shuttles to town. The staffs at the beach bar were amazing as well.
