There are very little reviews on here for this hotel, but wow it is amazing!!! The staff are so welcoming and helpful. We arrived really early in the morning but they still made sure our room was ready for when we arrived. We walked to our bungalow - which really is incredible it has everything you could possibly need. Our price included breakfast which was lovely and all cooked well. We booked a snorkelling trip through the hotel which all went smoothly and we also booked our taxi back to the ferry through the hotel which was on time for us to get to the ferry on time. The only cons about this hotel is it is a little out of the way and it is up a very big hill! But we didn’t mind this it was a good bit of exercise every day! There are several beaches in the area and also the John Swaun viewpoint which is a must!! The views made the hill so worth it! We also ate at the hotel two nights as we was too tired to go out and the price was so reasonable and the food was very tasty too so if you’re wanting to be out of the way and with nature this place is amazing! We did walk to sairee beach one night as we wanted to see a fire show.. this was an hours walk but it was lovely. We ended up getting a taxi on the way back though! Overall I think this hotel really is lovely and the staff will do anything to help you. So thank you again for a lovely stay! …
Just spent 12 fabulous days here with my sister. Yes, it's up a hill and a few steep steps...but hey, it's Koh Tao. Views worth it. It's an small well run place with the most welcoming and friendly ladies working there. It wasn't busy so it felt like our own private pool and the service was always friendly and helpful.
I stayed here with my SO in late December. This is a fantastic resort to stay at if you’re injured! Through no fault of the resort, I suffered a severe ankle sprain and 2nd degree abrasions on my legs. The resort staff were first on scene and were incredibly helpful for the rest of the stay. I very much appreciated their help. They are very kind people. Pros: Fantastic view and 5 minute walk to the beach. Solid breakfast, above average but nothing too special. Clean amenities. Extra towels available for free upon request. Good location to some good restaurants. Staff helped us book taxi and snorkeling trip (and let us cancel after my injury, was reimbursed). Pricing was very reasonable for the taxi, snorkeling, and resort overall. I’d say it’s a great value compared to the other places to stay at that we researched. Cons: This is not me blaming the resort. But it something to be aware of. There is a 3-4 minute walk up a very steep hill with a paved road you must hike up to get to the resort. Obese/old people will struggle greatly. I’m in good shape and worked up a nice sweat coming up the first time with my backpack on. Injury story: I thought I could learn how to ride a scooter on this island. At first I was doing well. Driving on the flat and mildly hilly roads was easy. Going up the hill to the resort was not too hard. Going down the hill was the issue. When first attempting to ride down the hill, I was holding the left brake (rear wheels) the whole way down, as the hill is steep. Going down the hill there is a 90 degree right turn. As we approached the turn I needed to use my front brake (right handle) to slow down further. Being inexperienced, when I clamped the brake, I twisted the handle (throttle? Unsure the terminology). This shot us forward and I ran into the wall at an angle and made a concrete wall-left leg-scooter sandwich. I can’t think of a time where I have been in more pain. It was a truly miserable experience for a few days. The overpriced pharmacy down the hill had antibiotic cream, sterile antiseptic dressings, and gauze to help me self treat my wounds. I wouldn’t totally recommend against the scooters if you’re inexperienced, as they are a great way of transporting yourself around the island for cheap. If you are going to rent one here, make sure you get plenty of practice before taking it up to the resort, consider leaving it at the bottom of the hill and walking to it, and also consider walking it down the hill with it off and you holding the brakes (unsure how safe this is, just an idea). If we come back we will stay here again! …
Good it was such a great place to go .. specially with your loved oness. The place is simple and peaceful .. perfect for family vacations. The service in the resort is also fantastic the staff is very welcoming overall its a five star experience for us.
After a lot of research of where to stay in Koh Tao, we ended up choosing this place, and it was 100% the right choice. Yes, the location is a little far from the "center", as it is in the south of the island, but Koh Tao is such a small island that nothing is really far. Only a short 10 minute drive from the main happening area. The views from the hotel pool and rooms are stunning! It is a little bit of a hike up, but totally worth it. The service was exceptional, the food was good, the rooms were great and specious. The views from the balcony are beautiful as well. Another huge plus here is the super comfortable beds, which are way harder to find in Thailand than you'd think. There are plenty of restaurants and bars a walking distance from the resort, you will not be disappointed! I can't wait to come back here.…
