Saireehut Resort is placed very well, close to the beach. Decent swimming pool. We booked for eleven persons. We were given three Triple "superior" bed rooms, with one extra bed (total of 10 beds). We had to pay extra, for the second extra bed - we didn't feel we were treated right in that situation! The "superior" rooms had noting... More

The only good thing about our stay was that we just stayed for one night and could move to a different place the next day. Avoid this "resort"! We payed 1900 baht for a room, which was the most expensive but worst room we had on our 3 month SEA trip. When we first arrived they showed us a bungalow... More

Nice and helpful personal. A little expensive if you compare it to places on the mainland. Nice breakfast. Small pool area, but people mainly use the beach. If you don't like the local dogs, then you have to choose another place or just try to ignore them (they are allowed in the dining-area and walk free around outside). They walk... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in July and we were happy with our stay. The location is lovely on the beach with a very nice pool and there was always sun loungers available. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful, they also offer free taxi to the pier.... More

I'll state the things which are good... - decent pool - positioned right on the beach - the fanciest/modern/expensive rooms (we paid ~$120 AUD/night) are nice and clean and modern - Sam at the front desk, who should be the manager - central position in town - great coconut shakes - wifi works decently in the fancy rooms The rest...... ... as we arrived here, the way to the reception about 200 meters through a tropical garden with "Mainah" birds welcoming us in all different languages was very welcoming. We were 2 families with 6 children. The premiere rooms very rustic, good for 3, then we had one standard, also good for 3. Then for us parents we had deluxe... More

We had one of the rooms closest to the road. Tired, older rooms, simple room. The newer ones closer to the beach are nice modern rooms with a rooftop area. Breakfast was OK, included and decent. The restaurant has really good food at a decent price. The guest service man was very helpful, directed us to our favorite snorkeling beach,... More

This place does have some good points; it does front the beach, the restaurant does serve up some good curries, the pool is quite nice. Rooms out back away from beach were quite old, simple and worn. For the rate charged we felt it was morecthan a bit overpriced. Service was in general pretty poor, although the manager from Myanmar... More

Me and my partner visited this restaurant quite a few times, since this was one of the very few places that served our favourite lassi: passion fruit. But then we decided it was not worth it, due to lazy, slow and even unfriendly staff. Their vegetarian burger is really tasty though (and this is hard to find on Koh Tao),... More

Nice pool area. Cold shower, rooms were clean, mosquitoes are common just bring your repellant or buy it at the shops on the island. Make sure you check out the sunset on the beach too. Awesome island purely for diving, will definitely be back.
