The pictures doesn’t match the real life view, except for the beach, the bungalows are poorly treated and some of them are not even cleaned. And If want to lay on the beach, there will be an old man walking around looking at u and others………………..
That was really poor and unsatisfactory. First, we got lost in the jungle, because Google maps showed us another hotel with the same name. We tried calling to the hotel, but the staff didn’t speak any English and were of no help. Second of all, even after an upgrade we were offered as an apology, it was a complete disaster. The room was dirty, with sand and dust all over the floor; the furniture needs to be renovated. The pillows were so hard, I woke up with a headache and a stiff neck. The staff were unfriendly, not speaking English and looking tired of this life. The only friendly person was Anna, who was evidently either the owner or the manager. The most unpleasant thing about this hotel is the breakfast ( I literally ate nothing. Even the black coffee was undrinkable. The only good thing about those “villas” is the location (right on the seaside, with a nice Long Beach and beautiful water). To sum it up, we could have stayed for one more night, but we decided to come back to Phuket, because the service leaves much to be desired.…
You need to approach staying here with full knowledge of what you are getting. It is a very simple and run down hotel. The rooms are a good size and are clean and it does have air con. The bathrooms are really horrible, not very clean, tiny trickle of shower water and basically very old. Staff don’t understand much English and are quite surly. There is no kettle in the room only an urn that looks like a rice cooker and heats the undrinkable tap water to luke warm. most of the places on long beach are run down and we realised we should of stayed closer to town but not right in the Center as it’s too noisy. To get to town we needed to walk 25 mins but the first 5 mins you going to the end of Longbeach and walk up a steep dirt track that has ropes before you get to steps and a proper path to town. We love walking but this small dirt path stops you going to town at night so you can’t walk which means you have to pay 100 baht and 150 baht per person at night to get a boat taxi. This was a big offput. The breakfast has a few diff options but obviously the quality of food is very low and if you like good food then you won’t know what to eat. They do try but all in all it was unwelcoming. However if you expecting a budget run down hotel then you will get this experience.…
Firstly if you like a late drink or some music then this is not for you! You need to take a long boat to get into town and back again, pretty expensive at 100baht pp during the day or 150 pp at night and the majority of them finish up at 12. They will also wait for more people to fill the boat as much as they can but they will not discount the price! It’s a 40 minute walk to the resort from the main town area.. the beach itself is fabulous with a wonderful view and you can kayak or snorkel with the equipment provided.. plenty of sun loungers too.. there was no lunch or dinner and food options are very limited along the beach so the best option is to go to the town.. breakfast was poor and had limited options.. the room looks like it hasn’t been changed since the 80s, it has just a padlock to lock the 2 sliding doors together and there is a gap of about an inch each side so bugs would have a field day, For privacy there is just a flimsy old curtain which blocks out all sunlight! there was sand everywhere when we entered so it obviously hadn’t been fully cleaned and the bed was as hard as a rock and very uncomfortable, the shower was cold and the toilet blocked and wouldn’t drain on our 2nd day.. tv channels didn’t work but we didn’t use them as the weather was so good.. we had booked for 3 nights but left before the 3rd as the bed was so bad we were in pain the next day.. on checkout the man at reception was quite rude, never asked how our stay was or why we were leaving early.. would not stay here again, rooms need a lot of upgrading, breakfast really poor, it wasn’t cheap either it was the most expensive place we stayed in Thailand, found a perfect hostel for our 3rd night and it was a far more comfortable nights sleep at a fraction of the price!…
Avoid at all cost. Waste of money. Place is really run down. Staff speak limited English and have a depressing look on entire time. No smile. Washroom was dirty, side tables had dirty glass marks, sand all over the room from before, every corner of the room had dead bugs. Bed is hard as a rock. We all woke up with a stiff neck. Our upgraded room was worse than the original room they gave us. The mosquito nets they provide have whole in them. Pools are covered with bugs. Don’t expect anything from the breakfast provided, we could only eat toast with butter and fruits. Ants everywhere around the food area. We gave them our laundry and it came back smelling like sewage and covered in sand. I think covid really hit them hard. Place seriously needs to update on everything to run.
helpful staff, beautiful beachfront, good price value rate, room is OK, clean, comfy bed, breakfast is better than exiected-though becomes a bit boring aftera week, but still fine, pool is visibly clean and they clean it every morning
Stayed here 4 nights and it was fine, saw some bad reviews on it in past but it looks like they are trying to pick up their game, staff overall was helpful and cheerful, informative if you ask questions, pool is small but refreshing when you been in sun all day, it’s nice to have decent snorkeling right off the beach in front of resort, good place to stay for middle of road budget, room views vary so try to get a decent view. We would stay here again.
Right on the beach front and our room was fine . We stayed for three nights as part of our honeymoon as I wanted to see other parts of Thailand . We were a bit disappointed that we weren’t given a better room as there were loads of empty ones , they did know it was our honeymoon and I did pay for a deluxe room . The grounds were a bit scruffy in places with blue plastic water pipes between the rooms not buried or hidden and plunge pools in bits being repaired . We did still enjoy staying here and would recommend it but if a 5 star hotel is top of your list then it’s probably not for you . The location is perfect if you want somewhere quiet but it’s half hour walk or boat taxi to the busier part of phi phi . I chose here because it’s close to shark point where you can snorkel with small reef sharks even though I didn’t see any . We never ate in the main restaurant as we went to bar street every night . We did however have breakfast three times and it wasn’t very good , most of the food was cold and it didn’t matter what time you ate , there was toast and fruit so we did find something to eat . The boat taxis rip you off a bit £5 to and from bar street then £7.50 for two people after 6.30 when it’s dark . Then they try and make you wait so they can fill their boat up with other people before they take you . …
In the land of service and smile I am so surprised about this place. Only focus on money, money and money. No smiles neither to me or anyone. The only thing that was nice was the beach but you must pay for sunchairs and it was cashed in by a smileless waiter/waitress.. If you want to stay in Long Beach stay next door at Paradise Pearl Bungalowes.
We stayed in a standard room for 3 nights and loved our time here and would return. I was worried about how many bad reviews I read prior to our arrival so my expectations were not high. But beach was stunning, pool clean and handy to cool down in, we seen monkeys on the path near our room which was cool! Standard room was rundown and in need of upgrade but did the job and was cheap so didn’t expect much more. If you are fussy get a premium room they looked much nicer. Staff were friendly enough. Breakfast selection not that great but again part of our room price so that’s ok, they had bacon but was sitting there cold and reheated if wanted prob not so good. We did order a pizza one night sitting on the beach pizza came out with only half the toppings we started to eat but decided to tell the staff it wasn’t right they took it away and added the extra topping on top of original reheated and return which is really not acceptable but we let it go as language barrier was a challenge. The views and beach is beautiful it’s a must do!! And walk down the beach take a private long tail boat for a trip around the islands to discover all the beaches and snorkel spots it’s worth it. …
