We were 3 families stayed in four rooms. Good things: Great views from room D3 &4. See photos Well priced Good customer service and friendly staff Easy going check in Kids loved playing in stairway Quite and safe Monkeys might come to balcony. Don’t play with them and keep balconies door shut Things to be considered You need to walk a few stairs so must be fit to do so. We had little kids those done it. We planned in a way that we walk up once to sleep and second time to check out. Basic amenities and no microwave Overall Recommend for quick stay

As Phi Phi Island is famous for its parties, you won’t be able to sleep if you are stayin at a hotel that is right in the center of the island. Papaya Phi Phi Resort is faselt reached at a walking distance and still far enough away to escape the loud music and drunk teenagers. As it is build up a hill, you have to keep in mind to climb up a “few” stairs to get to your room. They provide water in the Room, and you have a little balcony as well. We had a great view to both beaches of the island. The room is neat and tidy, just in the last day we had a big spider🕷 .... could have happened in any hotel. Watch out for the monkeys! They’ll give you a visit every morning to steal you some food. Definitely recommended!

A 3 star short stay hotel with a fantastic view located 10 mins away from the centre and main beach. There are steps but that is how you get the view - if you want a party hotel on the beach look elsewhere. In relation to the other accomadation in the same price braket it is really reasonably priced. Great staff with free pick up fromt the pier. Breakfast healthy and delivered to room at time of our choice. Take the breakfast and enjoy the sunrise from the balcony. It is a place to stay for 2/3 days or longer for those doing dive courses etc. Good stay. Thanks

Do not waste your money! Firstly the hotel is FAR from everything it defiantly is not in the centre. You have to prepare for the hike every single time you want to leave and enter your room where you are left dripping in sweat. ( the room we had was Litterally 30 steps below the phi phi view point, that is how high up the rooms are )!! Also - the noise! The walls are paper thin and you can literally hear your neighbours word for word. We was up until 3:30am with ours screaming and banging doors. The pipes in the bathroom constantly stink the room of urine!!!!! It is disgusting. The shower doesn’t work and you have to hold it to get the water to go on your body. Also the rooms don’t get cleaned for days at a time. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, especially if it isn’t that bad but this hotel is awful!

Stayed for one night, last minute booking cost about £20 for double room with breakfast. Pros: very friendly staff, amazing views from balcony (we were on top row of rooms), tasty breakfast delivered to your room, cheap, away from the central region enough so it’s not too loud, close enough to get to the main strip in 5-10 mins. Cons: up a long flight of stairs (tough when coming back after few drinks), bed not very comfy, shower quite weak and hot water didn’t work (not a major issue as weather was obviously very warm). Overall, we were very pleased with what we paid for it. Some parts could have been nicer and newer but we got a decent price compared to other hotel rooms so won’t complain.
