My girlfriend and I stayed in Zeavola for 6 nights over Christmas. If we were just looking for an amazing place to stay, this would've been five stars. The rooms are fantastic, the service is really great (the evening turndown service especially). The transfers were faultless. The manager, Lion (who will probably read this) was also great to speak to. I really admire the resort's commitment to its staff during the pandemic too. So much thought and care goes into this resort that it's painful to deduct a star from our review. The only reason we're not giving this five stars is because it was an absolute nightmare to book diving at the dive resort. Upon arrival, a person in the dive shop informed us that there are no instructors. Instead of helping in any meaningful way, he told us to walk for 30+ minutes in the hot sun to find another dive resort in the village. He didn't help arrange a taxi or try to support us in any way. Given diving was our main reason for visiting, this was a big deal for us. If arranging diving is likely to be a problem, guests should be informed in advance. The other minor gripe is with one of the restaurants. The resort has two restaurants. One of them was fantastic on both nights we ate there. Great food, good service etc..On the 3rd night, the food was served in a different restaurant. It was the same menu, same prices etc...but the food wasn't as good (maybe a different chef?). I'm not sure what happened here. But overall, the food is great (the breakfast especially is worth paying for).…
We stayed at Zeavola for three nights to celebrate our 20th anniversary and we were thrilled to discover an absolute gem of a resort that we can’t wait to go back to! Everything exceed expectations. The pick up and speed boat to the island was well organised and the check in was wonderful. The resort manager and head chef introduced themselves and this really set the tone for the whole stay as the staff are absolutely wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. They will literally do anything to make sure you enjoy your stay. We enjoyed the themed NYE party where there was a themed gala dinner and dancing to the early hours. We took long tail boats out everyday to explore the islands and coming back to the resort at the end of each afternoon to relax on the beach and enjoy a few cocktails was the perfect end to the day. Dinner at the restaurant was very good with Thai and international cuisine on offer. We stayed in a garden villa which was a short stroll from the beach. The accommodation is rustic but very comfortable with plenty of outdoor space for lounging. The evening turn down service is a nice touch as the staff prepare your room for bedtime. It’s also worth noting that Zeavola is a sustainable resort that supports the local community in various ways. We loved our stay here and wish it had been of a longer duration but we will definitely be back! Thanks to Lion and the rest of the team for ensuring that our stay was so pleasurable.…
Many thanks to Lion and the team for making our stay once again a truly memorable one. Despite Cov19, we felt very welcome and safe at all times. The team even organized a lavish Bollywood new year‘s eve party with a scrumptious buffet dinner, a live DJ and a lucky draw. Chef Beeknoo’s breakfast noodle soup and coconut cookies are to die for, and he even volunteered to share his secret recipe to take us back to this breathtakingly beautiful resort. If you are searching for a barefoot luxury beach resort, look no further - this is it!
An impromptu trip to Thailand resulted in my partner and I stay at Zeavola Phi Phi and the week we spent there was absolutely fantastic. Every member of the team from the GM down to the housekeeping staff were absolutely wonderful, nothing was ever too much and was consistently service with a smile. The room was lovely and the mosquito net worked an absolute treat, no bites whatsoever 😊 We would highly recommend this hotel for couples and families alike… we will certainly be coming back 10/10 👍🏻
We stayed here for two weeks in late December. The resort is laid out as a series of cabins distributed along the beach and into the jungle at the north end of Phi Phi. The resort is quiet compared with those around and perfect for chilling out. The scenery is stunning with a long sandy beach and turquoise water. As the cabins are in the jungle you will occasionally come across some wildlife, we hear that some guests can have a problem with this, but we loved it. If you are looking for a pristine five star marble hotel with all the accessories you would usually find in Dubai, then this is not it. If you are looking for a homely, charming, rustic experience then keep reading. The rooms are all wood, with large beds reminiscent of colonial beach houses. The cabins have a small veranda for sitting on, perfect for an evening G&T. The staff were charming and attentive. Leon the manager has managed to create a sense of peace, efficiency and friendliness which is very conducive to relaxation. The food was fantastic, we had the Thai noodle soup for breakfast every morning and there are western options too. The charming chef does all the Thai dishes perfectly and a great curry from his homeland of Mauritius. This was the absolute best mango sticky rice that we had on the whole trip, salty and sweet. There are other restaurants along the beach if you are feeling adventurous, I would try the small place in the forest at the south end of the beach for some homestyle Thai cooking. We did a few activities, the diving was great and the day trips on the long boats show off some stunning beaches and caves. Overall we cannot recommend this place highly enough and will be coming back again. We were heartbroken to leave.…
