Good accommodation and services! Offers a really great view of the beach. Had the beachfront bungalow, could hear the waves clearly, very relaxing. The rooms are not the best but the staff and their hospitality was great! Overall you can go and enjoy a pleasant time although the connectivity is not the best

I recently had a 7 night stay at the resort with my family (5th April-12th April) which I had booked a Beachfront bungalow and 2 Superior bungalow. I visit Phi Phi 1-2 times a year and I visit with my family every time. I have a big Thai family and this time I thought I’d invite 2 more family members along with us. On arrival we were asked to pay 1500THB per extra person, per day which I was very happy to do so. But when we asked for extra bed/bedding or a cot we were refused! Saying the king size bed was big enough for 3 people, this response was a shocked me. I couldn’t believe I was told we had to have 3 people to a bed. I mean if you are charged for extra people surely we would receive bedding? (We have received bedding in other resorts). Your reception staff were very blunt and quiet frankly rude seeing as we were to pay an additional of 21000THB for nothing? With the extra cost I decided to see if any other rooms were available to book. We were offered a Garden view bungalow. Now to come to the rooms themselves; The 2 Superior Bungalow air con was not getting cold and after requesting we received fans to help, but with the Garden view we never received a fan for the whole duration of the stay and we did request one multiple times. The Beachfront Bungalow was full of flies on the first day/night and the door was shut promptly entering/exiting the bungalow. The air con on last night froze over and was dripping on my 4 year old son overnight, he woke up saturated! We also encountered multiple geckos and I understand they are very common in Thailand but I have never seen on in all resorts I have stayed in on Phi Phi! In a honest review of the rooms, it had seemed we were offered rooms that have been dormant for some time. The smell of mould in the air, the smell of rust coming through the taps, the dust balls which would appear once the aircon was turned on, dirty sink areas, stained toilets, dirty bed sheets. I could go on but I’m sure you know what you are supply to your customers. We also see a cockroach in one of the superior bungalow. We also visited the sunset bar one evening to experience the views. As my brother was walking to the bar he’s foot had falling through the floor. At the time we had laughed about this as we had a great relationship with one of your bar staff but on reflection this could’ve been seriously dangerous, if this was one of my older family members they might of not caught balance causing severe injuries. In my 10+ visits to Phi Phi this has to have been my least memorable experience.

To begin with, it was a long and burning hot boat ride from Phuket Island, though I enjoyed the journey. We stayed at Ocean Sunset Pool Villa, which is a bit too far from the beachfront. Had to rely heavily on the buggy cart. We were greeted by a staff who did not mention that the resort was under maintenance. She pretended if all these services were available, where in reality none of them weren't. The main restaurant was under maintenance and closed through all times. Same with the spa for massage and the gym. However, found out later that they opened the spa in the bungalow close to the lobby as the replacement for the main area. We went for back, neck and head massage but it was a bit too hard for me. As the hotel restaurant was also closed, we only had a limited choice of 10 dishes available at the room service on demand. Only half of which are Thai food. The restaurant nearby, called Chilli and Pepper, is also closed, possibly because of getting reduced customers. The other one called Jasmine is still open though. The food there was nice and you can get a spectacular view of the sea. I'm now aware that the resort has been under maintenance for a long while now. So, all we had was little private swimming pool in front of our room. Thr shower water was absolutely disgusting. Not only does it smells bad, it also tastes horrible. I do not think it's even suitable for a shower. As for the pros, it's in a tranquil area locked away from the main beach and very family friendly. A bit too quiet for us. Will go for a different option when we come back.

You can’t find a more spectacular location to stay. Our bungalow was number 505 and was on the beach front literally a stones throw to the water edge. The sand is white and water clear just as you see in the photos. Things to bear in mind. Cleanliness was not as good as expected. Under and around our bungalow there were things left behind by previous guests a lot of rubbish, slippers, towels which had been forgotten. The bathroom and shower was outdated and felt old and we didn’t dare use the outside shower as that whole area looked dirty and stained from the wildlife. I had to ask the cleaner one day for a cloth to clean the table outside on the balcony as it was stained from beverages used by guests before us. The breakfast area really was quite gross. I didn’t feel like i was eating in a clean atmosphere. Really basic things like the table cloth on the breakfast bar were stained and tatty. The bar being quite open to the outside had stains from the fauna which seemed to flow in and out at their leisure. Staff were attentive however you never saw anyone cleaning when they weren’t doing anything. Its a pity as it would make the atmosphere much more pleasant. We did encounter some problems with the verandah door not opening and it was resolved immediately. The hotel took full charge of collecting us from our previous hotel in phuket taking us to the ferry port and the boat trip to the island for 1500 baht per person also the trip from the resort by boat to the next hotel in Krabi also for 1700 baht per person. This service is a real benefit because otherwise you have to take several boats and taxis and avoid all the hassle! Also another thing which was fabulous and my highlight of my entire trip to Thailand was the private long boat tour to ko phi phi leh. Not for the visit to Maya beach (however it was included) but for the swimming in the lagoon and snorkeling experience. That was worth every baht! You pay for the boat up to 4 ppl and its 2080 baht for 4 hours. Highly recommended!

The location and the lay-out of the bungalows are amazing. That’s the good news. Bungalows are tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. Ours was clean and not smelly. The towels need replacement, even freshly washed they are stained and torn at the sides. Restaurant does not offer attractive setting and food is dull and staff very uninterested in what is going on. Luckily just next door there are amazing eateries at the beach like Jasmin restaurant for example. Would not stay here again if I was to find a suitable alternative.

Hotel is working its way back from the pandemic. We selected a suite with private pool. Room was in bad shape, up the hill and you need a be transported back and forth to the beach. In the room, there was toilet paper hanging from bathroom ceiling and the tv didn’t work. The room also smelled like sewage, when asked to move rooms the front desk did not want to assist us due to the property being oversold however when I showed them they were still had rooms available online on their website they agreed to move us a lot closer to the beach in a new renovated room. Location is great but I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Cleaning service is poor. Bed sheets and pillows were in yellow spots. After we asked to change them - they changed for the same dirty sheets and only the third sheet was ok, pillows haven’t changed(((. They don’t put away the rubbish from the tables and shelves and don’t clean the floor. Air conditioner turns off at night several times! It was hot! The breakfast is poor . We ate only pancakes and eggs. Coffee from the old coffee machine is not tasty. The fake grass at the pool area is very hot. Not enough sun beds on the beach. I can forgive all above because of beautiful beach, but that is not hotel’s achievement. A lot of improvements have to be done. Room service ( food and delivery) was good enough.

Beautiful location & fantastic hotel. Arrived via ferry to Ton Sai pier then longtail to the hotel beach. Came from Railay Bay. Dont bother with ferry & longtail just pay for speed boat direct to hotel beach. Not much in it neither as longtail 1500 BHT & ferry 450 BHT. Had a beach front cottage. 114. Right on the front. Great room. Little tired but more rustic. Stayed here 6 years ago & many improvements. Monkey bar, Jimmys cafe & sunset bar. All part of the hotel. Also can put all purchases to the room. Pay at check our. Hotel takes Amex too. Nice pools. Great beach. Kayaks 300 & clear kayak 400BHT. Longtail to Maya bay & monkey island, snorkelling etc. 4 hours 2k BHT. 7am departure. Will return!

While this was our first trip to Thailand this resort in Phi Phi seemed like a perfect location. The hotel was much quieter than we expected, so we really enjoyed the tranquility on this small island. The beach is picture perfect and with a beachfront bungalow only took steps to get into the water. The food was excellent as expected, but don’t expect too much from any available cocktails. Fruit drinks were a hit or miss. Lots of breakfast options so I’m sure you’ll find something there. We appreciated the four bottles of water they provide as part of the room service every day. The rooms were rather simple and certainly could do with some upkeep when it comes to needed maintenance. Beds were comfortable and clean and the AC worked well so we slept well. It seems some of the bungalows at the end of the property have even been abandoned completely. Pool areas are nice, but the pools themselves could also do with a good cleaning. Took a day trip to Maya Bay which was simple to arrange with one of the long boats. Don’t forget to walk down the South end of the property to visit the Chili & Pepper restaurant for lunch or dinner. Their drinks are fabulous and don’t come short on alcohol. 😏 Also had a $35 60min Thai massage which was interesting but great. Would absolutely come back here.
