We stayed in a sea view bungalow and had a beautiful view. The outdoor deck of the bungalow is huge. The room was really comfortable and very clean. The staff are excellent and helped to arrange transport to and from Phuket for us. We are at the restaurant for most lunches and evening meals and the food was delicious and the service was great. The hotel also arranged a trip around Maya Bay for us which was amazing. Thank you for a great stay!

While no longer affiliated with IHG the Phi Phi Holiday Resort has maintained its charm, efficiency and kindness. The location on what is probably the best beach in Phi Phi would be hard to beat, we received excellent service throughout our almost 3-weeks stay from everyone we interacted with and enjoyed the superb, literally out of this world, location. Khun Nat and Khun Jay at the reception were always kind and helpful, Khun Joy and Khun Jen took special care of us on their day off and we had a wonderful time at Nui beach in the company of their group. Khun Add regularly made sure all our needs were met and arranged some extra attentions (as did Khun Jen who graciously offered us a gift), Khun Bell and Khun Mon made sure we were well fed and taken care of, Khun Supphanet made everything work well, while Khun Yupa (Tik) took great care of our room. Overall we could not have asked for more and everything was better than we expected. Looking forward to coming back soon to paradise. Highly recommended.

We were very impressed with our stay here. We stayed here for our honeymoon after stops in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. This was what we needed after visiting those busier destinations. We were able to just relax and enjoy the location. Hotel is in a remote area of the Islands that requires about an hour speedboat that you coordinate very easily through the hotel. We had issues with our flights and the hotel worked with us to ensure we would make it to the hotel. Thank You so much! We booked a villa with a private pool and we spent a lot of our time enjoying our privacy and loved it. The technology they have incorporated with the app allowed us to track if our room had been cleaned and to order room service at our finger tips. Make sure you book a long tail island tour to visit Monkey Beach, The Beach and other spots.

It was a fantastic to stay in a real paradise. During check-in because of IHG Spire elite status and hineymmon reason our room was upgraded to Sunset Villa with pool and our experience became unbelievable. I really like food serving in all restaurants. The private beach is most attractive thing. We are dreaming to come back one time again to have this experience again.

This was the worst part of our trip and I definitely wouldn’t return. The hotel room itself was lovely but that’s all that was good about it. The staff in the Tao rom prao restaurant were rude and clearly couldn’t be bothered. The first night we were there we sat waiting forever to be served and when our food finally arrived some of it was cold. When we went down for breakfast the following day we sat down at a table and were asked to move elsewhere just to suit them and there were flies all over the breakfast buffet. Some of the staff on the excursion desk were just rude and very unhelpful. They were clearly only interested in trying to get as much money out of us as possible by selling us the most expensive options and not making us aware others that we later found ourselves. We went out on a snorkelling trip to bamboo island and weren’t made aware that they would drop us about a mile from the beach with no life jackets. My partner isn’t a strong swimmer and we were both stung by jellyfish. It’s a shame as the level of service and standard was very different to everywhere else we visited whilst in Thailand.

Response from NawaratC6, Front Office Manager at Holiday Inn Resort Phi Phi Island
Responded May 24, 2020
Dear Leonie H, We are grateful for your comments and for sharing your experiences of stay. As for the disappointing services and unpleasant experiences, I will look into it together with management team because it is not our usual and normally our staff always get good comments for being friendly, attentive and warm welcoming. We strive to make each stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and we appreciate that you brought your experience to our attention. We take feedback seriously and will coach our team to make the necessary changes so we can provide a better experience in the future. I hope you will give us a chance by staying with us again to show you that your unsatisfactory stay was an exception. Hope you would not let this mar your whole experience and we look forward to the opportunity to welcoming you back again soon. Warm regards, Nawarat Pew-on Front Office Manager
