Pros: Two private beaches, near to long beach, spacious and clean rooms, concierge service, feels isolated (big feat in Phi Phi), free transfer service from pier (only during check out and check in), free tasting menu everyday, great stocked fridge in the room, free beach towels. Cons: A bit far from town centre (20 min trek through hills and beaches),... More

I haven't stayed at the Viking Nature resort so I won't be writing a review about the property itself; however, I must share the poor experience I had with this hotel. My fiancé and I were planning on going to Phi Phi Island last month and booked 3 nights on the property's website directly. Unfortunately, only a few hours after... More

Pros: The property is very pretty and away from the chaos of the busy area of phi phi. The resort has two private beaches which were pretty nice. The staff was friendly and the lady at the counter reminded me that I was owed my 500 baht key deposit when I almost walked away without it. Nice balcony with hammock.... More

Upon arrival on Phi Phi, at the ferry port, you'll find a Thai worker holding a board to the resort. You'll then get packed onto a long tail boat and driven to the resort. The staff are helpful and there's a ton of bell boys ready to carry your bags. You'll then get walked (100m) to reception where you check... More

We had a great vacay here. Everything it's just nature, the houses are in nature, the restaurant is in nature and it's also on the beach. There were no bugs or someth like that in our house. Love the food from their restaurant very much! The beach is great, it has a wonderfull view. It is not too far away... More

I was a bit nervous booking here due to comments about being in middle of jungle. However it was brilliant. We were met from the ferry by their long boat which I hadn't booked so that was good. Resort on initial look is a bit run down but it's completely in keeping with surroundings. So much attention to detail. Our... More

I spent one night at the Viking Nature resort and had a fantastic experience. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was literally a little villa/ treehouse in the jungle, on the beach. As long as you're happy without A/C I highly recommend visiting this hotel for a couple of nights. Once you dock in Phi Phi you'll find... More

The location in the jungle- the private Beach and the interior design is perfect. What we found ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE: 1. My boy-friend got seriously injured (a barracuda bit his hand) in the private Beach of the hotel (a couple of Meters from the shore). The staff was not trained to deal with such an emergency. Everybody was asking "sorry... More

Have you ever wanted to stay in a treehouse? On the beach? One with a comfy bed, toilet/shower, fridge, fans, balconies, and room to spare? This is it. We LOVED our time here! I cannot stress enough how beautiful this location was. It's located on the Long Beach side of the island, which is much less crowded and only a... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in M2A. It was a beautiful Thai style structure which sits in the trees and provides a view of the ocean through the trees. The M2 building houses 2 other rooms which appeared to be smaller. Our room had a perfectly placed hammock with a large veranda which also had a dining... More
